I never write reviews but this one I had to write. Growing up, going to the Dentist has never been easy for me. The tools terrified me to even see, and the noise of the drilling equated in my mind to the feeling of pain. In addition, as I got older, the lectures of failing dental health were the last things I wanted to hear. I went to several offices. They never worked out. They never took the time to talk to me. No one really took five minutes to understand why the Dentist was so difficult for me. So, I did what most people do, I guess. I ignored the signs, made excuses, and just stopped going. I knew I was in serious need of dental care and better health. Then one day, a phone call. Her name is Missy, a longtime friend, and she just called to tell me about her new job, how much she loved it, and how great the staff was. She didnt know about my Dentist fears. We spoke for a while and inevitably I made an appointment later that week. I can never thank you enough, Missy. This phone call turned out to be an amazing turning point. When I walked in, the Desk staff welcomed me like I had been a regular patient for years. I felt at ease while I waited to see the dental staff. The Dental staff gave me everything from x-rays to cleanings and most importantly, an assessment as to where I am and where I should be from a dental health perspective. One of the senior Dentists even approached me and said “you are an example of why we opened this practice and we are going to help you”. Those words meant more to me than he will ever know and I thank him. Next phase was financial. Sometimes cost can be an obstacle for not getting required work done. I spoke with Paula. She explained the services, costs, and what time options were available. We formulated a plan and handled costs efficiently. Paula was just as integral to me getting my improved dental health as the dental staff. She made the process easy. I am entering my 2nd year with Dental Care Stamford. I am pleased to say I am still consistently attending this office for my dental health. With each appointment, I receive consistent quality care from all departments. My fears have been significantly lessened and it is now a part of my regular health agenda. Dental Care Stamford works as an organized team. They are professionals with a focus on the patient. I could not recommend dental care of stamford enough. I live in New York City, and make a special point of commuting all the way to Connecticut just to get my teeth done with Dr Roth & co. I suffered a horrible fear of the dentist due to prior experiences and spent years evading my checkup. As a result I ended up with a horrifying number of cavities and double the terror. What I never could have anticipated, however, was that my experience healing my mouth would be positive enough to banish to my denta-phobia. Not only will you be impressed by the quality of work done by Dr Roth, Dr. Bonano and Dr Ruel, you will be utterly taken aback by the kindness of their entire staff. As much as I love everyone there (and I really do- they are lifesavers), the office manager, Ilena, has been my saving grace. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty, bringing me blankets and amusing light up rings during my appointments, drafting extensive schedules and decorating them with stickers, and even responding to texts at all hours of the day (I once sent her a message at 5 am that said "ouch" with a crying emoji, to which she responded "Come early if you can. Ill get u in. I dont want you to be in pain. Im here if u need me. Xo."). I could have never imagined I would feel so at ease in a dentist office, and I will (on some level) miss going there every week. There is nowhere else you are going to find better dental care by a more thoughtful, kind and loving staff. I consider it an absolute privilege to have been treated by Dental Care of Stamford and am forever grateful. (P.S Ji Kim sounds like a punk and I wouldnt trust a review from a punk. Susan M, on be other hand, seems to have lost her mind, because Ive spent enough hours there to say with certainty that this place is a godsend.)

I never thought that dentistry could be so exceptionally well-handled as you all do. I missed many ‘deadlines’ for both fillings and cleanings over many years because of my previous negative experiences. To my own detriment, and to the continuation of my belief that going to the dentist was something to be feared, hugely, and as a result, to be avoided. What that led to was far more dental work required – cavities, crowns, etc. … My experiences with Dental Care of Stamford have been life-changing. Each person I have encountered has been welcoming and professional. This has included being on the phone setting appointments, having now regular cleanings by welcoming and capable professionals, being advised of my needs, and coming in for ‘big work’ that was either overdue or newly needed. Dr. Simon has been amazing at helping me overcome my fears of dental work. He has been compassionate, patient, and phenomenally competent as he has worked on both very old cavities and necessary crowns. He and Mimi and their team even saved me from a potentially dangerous, incredibly painful split in my tooth by making space for me and spending, after hours, three and one-half hours saving the situation. I could not begin to say enough about how marvelous the Great Team at Dental Care of Stamford has been in my life. This includes going to them recently to have minor surgery on my gums. I know that I am very blessed to live near enough that I can drive to work with them. If I were not, I believe that I would fly to work with them! I thank every member of the remarkable Dental Care of Stamford Team for the great care I have been blessed to receive.

I went to dental care in Stamford to have my Daughters dental examination, cleaning and sealants done but,,, what a surprise I have received, first the people at the front desk were very nice , We waited just a little bit to see the Dentist,until there everything was really nice, then the disappointment began,,,, first I explain to the dentist that my daughter was there to have her sealants done , the dentist told my that she first had to do the routine examination because she had never seen my daughters teeth before, I agree,, She checked her teeth and said , "yes she needed the sealants but I dont have enough time to do it at this time".... WHAT???????? then she said that she was going to do the teeth clean up and to take some pictures of my daughters teeth,,,,,,,, she "literally" BRUSHED" " my daughters teeth and then send her for the pictures,then she told me to make ANOTHER APPOINTMENT for the sealants,,,,,,,, THAT WAS IT!!! BRUSHING YOUR TEETH IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GO TO THE DENTIST FOR A TEETH CLEAN UP??? I THINK THIS WAS A BIG RIP OFF AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK IN A MILLION YEARS TO THAT PLACE,, WHO EVER IN THE STATE OF CT IS IN CHARGE OR SUPERVISING DENTIST,,,, IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB!!!!! I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO EVEN GO CLOSE TO THAT PLACE, LOOK FOR ANOTHER DENTIST ,,,, BE SMART,, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, IF YOU WANT TO DO IT,,,, ILL CLEAN YOUR TEETH FOR 1/2 PRICE EITHER WAY YOU MAY ENDED UP DOING THIS JOB DONE YOURSELF!!..........good thing they have one start otherwise I would of give them 0
