I thank GOD for directing me to Solinsky EyeCare. I have been a lifelong patient of eye doctors, having been born with congenital cataracts. During the years I have faced many different difficulties with my eyes, and though seen by many “nice” providers, have suffered often for lack of true compassion and interest in the difficulties my situations have presented. I have been involved with many office visits over the last year especially, facing surgeries, as well as some serious loss of vision, and getting no where fast as my vision declined, I started searching the web, and praying for direction. I was led to Solinsky EyeCare, and from the very first contact, I have found everything I read about, and listened to from Dr Solinsky on their website to be nothing but true. First, on my initial visit, the office was packed, and as I paid close attention to all that was going on around me I felt like I was at an international gathering!. There seemed to be about 20 different staff members, all busy about people, and what I saw was a marvelously orchestrated symphony of compassion, kindness, and professionalism. I also believe it is important to say all of these staff members were young, especially because we hear so much negative about the young men and women in this country, it is important to brag on these young people! I heard multiple conversations in Spanish which speaks volumes of their ability to meet the needs of those coming to the office. Dr Solinsky said on his Web presentation that they have literally applied to every insurance offered in Connecticut so as not to turn anyone away, and my heart was blessed to see as I looked around, it had to be True. Second, as busy as it was they kept me moving, and quickly had me settling in with Dr Solinsky’s Technician, who would do my work up before seeing Dr Solinsky. His name was John, and I think it is very important because of all the negative words that freely criticize and defame any and everyone all too often, that this man gets praised where praise is due. Never was I met in my 57 year history of being the patient of eye care professionals, with the level of compassion and interest in the difficulties I was facing, than I was this first morning with John. It was deeply appreciated and needed as I had gone from about a 20x40 in my right eye last September after surgery, to a right eye that could barely see the biggest single letter on the eye chart. Then I met Dr Solinsky, and was met with exactly what I found on his videos, he was relaxed, soft spoken, kind and was very aggressively professional with the seriousness of my situation. Kindness is powerful to the hurting soul, He was very open to suggest the possible outcome of the future of my eyes, if we could not turn things around with efforts to restore my vision. This is what in my heart I knew to be true, and it was so refreshing to hear someone tell me the truth I needed to hear in order to attempt to save my eyesight. I have been at their office three times and with each visit I am blessed immensely by each and every staff member and by the mission of Dr Solinsky to fulfill his passion to serve their patients with compassion and professionalism and to be as progressive as he can to offer the best care. Whether or not I am able to restore my vision, I finally feel like I am not sitting on the sidelines any longer watching my vision go out the window and finding no one that will run the race with me to do what ever it takes to save it. And if I loose it, I have complete Trust that GOD will be with me and complete confidence that this office will do their best to bring about a winning outcome if it be in GOD’S will. Thank you Dr Solinsky for your mission, and your passion to see it come to full fruition! May the LORD multiply back to you and your staff all that you selflessly serve your patients with, and continue to bring increase to your practice so that many more will experience a wonderful team of professionals in their hour of need. I cannot stop bragging about Dr. Solinsky whom I consider the miracle man who so successfully restored my priceless gift of sight exceeding my expectations. Its like magic but for real. From the moment I met him on my initial visit 9/16/15, I knew I was in competent hands. His knowledge, professionalism & expertise was very comforting setting my mind at ease. Even though I was aware of the many advances in cataract surgery, I had procrastinated for years all the while realizing the progression of my cataract was obstructing my vision which would only worsen if left unattended. In retrospect, wish I hadnt waited so long to proceed with this procedure as the result may not have been so favorable. Admittedly, I was consumed with fear thinking the outcome would be dim caused my delay. Quite the contrary. After Dr. Solinsky thoroughly explained everything to me, I had full confidence in his outstanding ability & now thrilled beyond measure with the astonishing & amazing renewed sight which cannot be overstated. The surgical removal performed on Oct. 6th was completed painless on all levels. Simply incredible for which I am truly grateful. I highly recommend the compassionate team associated with this state of the art facility & especially Dr. Solinsky whom I consider THE BEST for optimum ophthalmological & quality care. I chose this office because of visiting with a patient of the office and because of my Insurance. The doctors and office staff were great, but I encountered a problem with the optical center, and I am not very happy right now. . I picked up my progressive glasses in early June, at which time in indicated to the tech that I could not read fine print properly, with the glasses. She stated that I would have to be re-examined. I suggested that I will wear them a little to see if my eyes adjusted. At a scheduled appointment on June 30th I had my eyes re-examine, and went to the Optical center to have my new Rx filled. I requested that I keep my glasses as I needed them for work, and just redo the lens. I was well within my warranty time to have the lens redone. I was expecting to get the lenses back in about 2 weeks , like it was for the glasses. After not receiving a call back from a message , I called today only to be told that my lenses were not processed as I needed to come in for measurement. This is a whole 3 weeks later and my lenses have not been processed and I did not receive a call to come in for the measurements. This is a disservice to me as I now have to to take time off to come in and wait again for my lenses. Thank You Lurlene Williams

I have been a patient of Dr. Alan Solinsky for close to 10 years. During that time, I have experienced outstanding care from the entire staff. In my opinion, Dr. Solinsky is one of the best Doctors in the Country. He makes you feel extremely comfortable and puts your mind at ease. About 4 years ago, Dr. Solinsky had to remove a rather large "cyst" from my eye. I remember being nervous about this, but he performed the surgery with no problem and I felt no pain. Additionally, Dr. Solinsky, recently performed cataract surgery on my wives eyes. He did an outstanding job, and we are so thankful that he is our Doctor. Additionally, the staff is just wonderful. The office manager, Cara, is a delight and has always been helpful. I wish I could remember the names of more of his staff, but truly they are wonderful. Finally, I would like to state that Doctor Janick is also a great doctor, She has helped me and my wife on numerous occasions and is just great....... Keep up the great work, and you can bet that I will continue to recommend people to Solinsky EyeCare.
