When i started i didnt have insurance plus i was preg.n not being able to pay at this moment which I understand but Ive paid over 630 dollars which I was also a few dollars over charged.ive been trying to find a winter job since I usually only work in the summer and not too many places want to hire a preg.woman...i was also very blown away by having my intake urine analysis used as a dirty one which made no sense to me.i never found out I was preg.til dec.27th and went to the er the next day dec.28th I went to the clinic.my 2nd test was done after a huge snow storm hit and I didnt think Id have a ride to the clinic after so yes I did make sure i didnt have an miscarriage or some bad happen.also i have no way to be 100% postive I make my meetings since I was in an accident and lost my insurance, on top of logistacare being contacted 6times and still picking me up an hr and a half earlier than what I told them..one good note-i love my counselor.hes very funny,understanding and competent but I have asked him about having myself or people that have or go to the clinic and were/Are addicts being assistant counselors or do the meetings etc. And that answer was a big fat no.alot of people like us want to hear from and talk to others they can relate to or have gone through the program . they are more willing to open up that way. Im not talking about taking over jobs but just being there to confide in or help...Ive been trying to be a single parent w.another on the way and I will not have anyone try to take them away.i dont n havent done anything in front of my kid nor do I shoot up or act irresponsible when it comes to him.

If you are serious about recovery this is the place to go! You pay out of pocket but the price is reasonable and the service is nothing less than OUTSTANDING!! Certainly the cost is less than whatever addiction you are feeding. They are very flexible with take home doses, counseling, and offer as many or as few classes and counseling sessions that you may want. Because this place is privately owned and operated some of the policies and rules are not as stringent as state facilities and other facilities that accept insurance. Make no mistake if you abuse the system you will be terminated as they are not pushovers and do abide by the law. However whereas a lot of facilities will make you jump through unreasonable hoops and loops classes and challenges that you can barely maintain a job and your life while getting treatment. It is quite the opposite here. You are able to get the treatment you need and as much or as little additional services you want or need. Everyone is friendly kind and treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy from the front desk personnel to the nurses, Doctor, and even the executive director will all most likely know you by your first name. You are not a number at AMS you are a patient that is very well taken care of. They are willing to put as much into you as you are willing to put into yourself. They saved my life and I cannot say enough good about them!

my brother was referred there by ellendale de-tox center and upon going to his appointment at 5:30am,they said they mis-scheduled. some time ago my brother was seeking to get better after years of drug abuse. the center had charged my credit card approximately $120 and i have not been reimbursed. they told my brother to come back at a later time,which now is that time and he was turned away and the reason was that the doctors rejected him without an explanation. picture yourself making the decision and how difficult it is to decide to seek help from an addiction and to be turned away! the center is a few blocks away from where he lives. hes blind in one eye and difficult for him to drive elsewhere. the staff/counselors at ellendale were sincerely trying to help him and they booked this appointment at AMS and yet he was dismissed in his plea for help. its really shameful on AMS part,especially since they are getting paid and supposedly they are there to help,which they are blatantly not doing so.

Guest Dosed here from Baltimore for the week on Vaca in OC and the Staff was very nice & cool. went when i was supposed to, did what i was supposed to, called in the day before to double check and make sure everything was A. O.K and I was in and out. Very clean and professional dosing room. Not a dope fiend lineup like in Baltimore and very private one at a time, not everyone knows your business here...seemed pretty straight. Definitely a OK spot if you are vacationing in OC for the week. About 30min from 125th st. Only bad thing a 6 day guest dose is $175. $25 first time fee for new comers and then $25/day after that. Its up to you. be sick and hate life and be miserable all week or pay what you would pay in one day for the week and feel like a normal human being.

If you are thinking about staying in the surrounding areas but are apprehensive about not knowing how your guest dosing will go, worry no longer. I guest dosed 3 days here and I tell you, they made things so comfortable and easy. My visit went very smooth because of AMS. Sending out a special thank you to you all for allowing me to have a worry free vacation. I would literally move there bc of how nice this clinic was. Thanks again ladies.

The people who work here are so kind. Being a former patient going from AMS to a clinic on the west coast puts my new clinic to shame! Also, I guest dosed for 6 days at AMS with no problems.. They made me feel so welcomed. I love this place & the people there! The nurses are AMAZING! When in doubt, go to AMS of Delaware and they will help you in any way they can :)! Miss you all

if youd like to go to a place that only cares about your money and not cares about you as a patient go here and waste your money otherwise I suggest you find somewhere else whawhere they care about you as a patient and what youre going throughits actually going to care about you as the patient and what youre actually going through

Just started Monday and intake was fast and easy, saw the doctor within 30 minutes of being there! Everyone is really nice and helpful and no waiting for an hour in line. Counselor is really friendly and doesnt seems rushed when speaking with me. Worth the money when compared to state run clinics.

I guess dosed here a few times when i was there working.The staff was nice and the facility was clean.The only problem i had was how much i was paying to dose there every day. $25 a day seem a bit much since i only pay $10 a day in NY. But all in all nice place.

Place saved my life. Use to be very affordable. Now not so much. Recently had a robbery at my property and whoever the scumbag was stole two doses of my medication. Called police to make reports and they laughed in my face. But overall good place
