After going there for over 10 years, with my dog,and cats, and my daughter has taken her 2 cats there for years, when we needed them the most they turned out to be all about the money. My daughter took 2 stray cats in years ago and even though they became indoor cats because they didnt want to go anymore. My daughter kept up with their shots and took them there when they got sick. One of them got sick and old, and they knew he was dying.Neither me or my daughter had money, she lost her job when her store closed where she had just become manager.I am in the process of trying to find a job. When we called to tell them he could not stand up,and hadnt eaten in 2 days, and it was time to put him out of his suffering, all they would say is how much it was going to cost. There was no sympathy,no compassion, just,Well its going to cost over $100.00.After my daughter told them she couldnt pay that, they didnt care.I called them and begged them to help. The woman that answered was cold, and unfeeling.I asked if she knew where we could turn to .She said call your vet.I said you are her vet!! She asked my daughters name, and I told her.She said, oh yeah, her boyfriend called too.She then told me yes it would be $100.00 and that did not include disposal of the body.I said we have been coming here for over 10 years, and thats all you can say??She put me on hold, than came back and said the best they could do is $88.00,and that did not include disposal of the body. She sounded, bored, and irritated, and totally without compassion. So it was fine as long as you pay them for shots, exams, etc. But when you need a little help,or compassion, forget it.I will never go back there again. My sister also had a few bad experiences with them, and had told me all they want or care about is the money.SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!

I have brought my dogs here since about 1988. This is a small clinic, so its not a full service facility or open 24 hrs/day, but that is made clear to you - its not a criticism. The vets are kind and practical, and do not push any diagnosis or medication. Services and meds are reasonably priced (I have investigated more than once). In fact, after a year of having my dog on an effective but expensive med (its expensive everywhere; I checked), the vet researched and recommended a less expensive therapy. Their recommendations are not "extravagant" - nothing "alternative." Regarding a review below, you are, of course, free to purchase meds from Petco or online, although they are NOT necessarily cheaper that way (I checked). If you are civil and reasonable to any of the staff, they will respond in kind. In 22 years, they have never been rude to me. Having cared for my four dogs over the years, they have been spot-on with all the critical diagnoses. I will continue with them, even though they are not the nearest practice to my home.

Circle Vet is a great clinic, but it is also a business. They ARE compassionate and sympathetic. They try to accommodate their clients and provide reasonable costs for pet healthcare; negative reviews based on "a lack of compassion" seem to commonly boil down to peoples expectation that this vet clinic should pick up every tab that "saves" an animal from their owners poverty. If you cant afford an animal, dont buy/adopt one. Though I love animals, following through on such an expectation would run this business into the ground. Dr. Wilkins has been nothing but great to me and my family. The staff has been helpful and accommodating and I always recommend this vet to anyone in the area as they are cordial and reasonably priced. God forbid, if any of my pets ever require a major procedure that I cannot afford, I wont suddenly change my opinion and expect Circle Vet to just foot the bill "to save an animal." Thank you for the top-notch care youve provided to my pets over the last 7 years and many more to come!

As a 20-year client, I have brought at least 4 dogs and 15 cats to Circle Vet for a lifetime of treatment. We have experienced everything from standard health checks/shots to injury/wound care to the treatment and eventual euthanasia of a 19-year old beloved pet (and other senior pets). Circle Vet and its owner, David Wilkins, is a caring and knowledgeable care facility that loves all animals and combines practical knowledge with humor and patience. They regularly call me at home and follow up to check in on the patient after an illness. In addition to being aware of the latest and greatest treatments, they manage to keep costs way down. My friends and family pay (on average) about $75 more for the exact same treatment my animals receive. Their staff is caring and friendly, yet practical. Its not easy caring for animals and their temperamental owners, but they do it with class.

I recently moved into the area from MA and needed a vet for my dog and cat. Circle Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me by someone with 9 cats. I figured, if they thought this was the best place to go, Ill try it. I called ahead to explain my needs, animal wise. My dog had had lymes disease. They scheduled me for the very next day. I found the staff welcoming and obliging, friendly and warm. The veternarian was informed, professional, offered me options and explained all procedures. I was NOT urged to any options...advise was offered and I was free to choose. I did not find this place any more expensive than any other Ive been to. But I found the care superior.

I have been using this practice for almost twenty years. They are a wonderful practice...kind, loving of pets, gentle when giving bad news to owners and provide excellent care. The vets call to check on my animals after seeing them if there is a serious or even not so serious problem Having taken my animals to emergency clinics after hours, I can testify to the reasonableness of their fees. They are always polite and considerate. I have had to put down several dogs due to serious illness and they were so nice to myself and my husband.

I brought my dog to this location because he had some weaknesses in his hind legs. I was sent home with $200 with of medication to relieve inflammation. The following morning my dog could not stand or walk at all so I rushed him to the emergency hospital. My dog is now paralyzed and went through $7000 in surgeries and care. When I called Circle Veterinary to see if I could return the medications they gave me, they declined because he was given 1 dose. I will never return to this Veterinarian.

Amazing Place. I have taken my animals to Circle Veterinary since 1991. Dr. Wilkins is hands down the most gentle caring doctor that has a way with animals that is second to none. Take your animal here, you will not be disappointed.
