While the pre-exam service and the exam itself were excellent, the post-exam follow up service has been terrible. I expected to pick up my eye glasses within a week of my exam but its been a month of twice weekly calls from me to them and Im just learning that my glasses are in today but that they are closing at 3pm when the hours posted on the website says 5pm. I am disappointed to say the least. I would gladly recommend my friends for an eye exam because the service on that end was great, but I cannot recommend anyone use Capitol Eyes to purchase their eyewear.

I would say their customer service was awful, except it doesnt exist. I had a similar experience to Jasmine. Doesnt seem to matter what the scheduled hours are. My Iphone said they were "open now" as did their own official website. I show up on a Thursday at 11:05 a.m. and they are closed?!?! I tried calling from outside. No answer the multiple times I tried. I even tried the opticians emergency line and Ive been waiting for a reply for 3 weeks. They have MAJOR ISSUES there. Save yourself the frustration. Dont go. See Yelp if you dont believe me.

I tried calling them a half-dozen times during their posted business hours, but never got an answer. Each call ended with a recording saying the mailbox was full, so I couldnt even leave a message. And thats the only way to reach them; their website doesnt even have a link to an email address. Judging from the other negative reviews, it looks like I dodged a bullet by not getting in touch with them. So thanks, I guess, for not picking up the phone, Capitol Eyes.

While the person who gave my my exam was great and they were helpful, they have been the worst communicators of any medical interaction I have had. Whenever they have said they would call, they did not. It has been a long and confusing process (including the office ordering one box of contacts for one eye and then requiring me to order the other box). They are very nice, dont get me wrong, but I greatly dislike having to monitor the process on a daily basis.

Loyal To Me

Nice quiet atmosphere, kind and caring doctor and staff. However, they hardly ever answer the phone there. Called after a week to see if my frames were ready for pick up, they werent and I was told it would be another two weeks and that Id get a call when they were ready. Over a month later, still no call. Ended up calling them instead of waiting another week and low and behold they were there! Lol I wont be returning.

Made a ppointment but they did not see you at that time. Delay things if you are not there for LASIK. They try to suck you in and when you want to get your medical records, they persuade you not to get it. Infact, told me that was not possible. When I wrote a letter, they took 3 weeks to respond. To receive my medical records, they will only send it in mails and will charge $25. wow... BS. Never go there again!

Sat down with me and reviewed payment options I had through my insurance. They were very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to choosing frames for my glasses. The optometrist stayed after hours and looked at the redness in my eyes due to a terrible pair of contacts I had been wearing for several weeks. They also ordered two different trial sets of contacts for me to try. Great experience overall.

I agree with the reviews about the lack of organization. I set up the first appointment of the day at 10am. They opened late after 10 and I had to wait outside for 10min in the cold even though they saw me waiting. Then it turned out the doctor didnt even show up that morning and wasnt answering his phone. That kind of service does not warrant another attempt.

Great services. I definitely recommend. Its great to have an optometrist and eyeglass store that is downtown, and close to my work. Both of the people who work there are really nice, and know what they are doing. Bill insurance for you, able to get glasses and contacts through my insurance.

Dr. Allouche is very attentive reassuring. He took care of my entire family, kids included, and was very compassionate and reassured my young boys that everything would be safe and easy. Definitely go see Dr. Allouche for your eye care needs! Hes the best.

This place has gone with best to worst. They say they will call you back in two weeks to get your glasses and I have been waiting for 3 weeks to get my glasses and they have to call back to order new ones because they was lost in the mail.

I believe they are racist. I asked if I could wait for my ride after I was finish with my appointment. Cause I have Metro Access. They told me to wait downstairs in the building. It wasnt even crowded. Customer service sucks
