They file to remove negative reviews from google regularly. This time last year there were over 20 reviews, mostly negative. P.S. they do suck and overcharge a large amount. The staff is highly unprofessional and the atmosphere is cramped and awkward. Glasses frames start at $120 out of pocket, plus fitting fees and anything other than basic lenses are over $100. When i asked what frames would be covered by my insurance, they insisted there werent any. Then one of the opticians opened a drawer with dozens of cheap frames on cardboard backings. He plopped them on the counter and said pick one. They didnt help me at all pick out a frame. They will not give me my prescription information so i can go to another doctor because my account is "over due". Apparently theres a $15 charge that wasnt covered by my insurance and they filed for collections against me. I am also a contacts wearer. Ive never had any problems for 5 years + with my old brand. They switched me anyway because the brand they reccomend they can sell and make a profit on. I was falsely told "they work better" than my old ones.I was skeptical and stressed that my old ones were fine that i just need to renew the scipt. They said thats not how it works. Ive had problems with the new ones drying out and getting stuck to my eye, requiring painful medical removal! So now they wont give me my contacts presciption because im not a "good candidate" I JUST WANT MY OLD ONES THAT WORKED FINE!

Insisted that I give new contacts a week trial period, even though I told them several times that there was something wrong during my initial fitting class. They told me multiple times that it was because I wasnt used to contacts. A week later, it was discovered that they mixed them up... I am still dealing with painful headaches and eye strain from trying to follow their program because they were certain it was just me not being used to them. Also got back up glasses from them. They insisted on trying something new with them, and it didnt work. When I tried to have that changed, they wouldnt allow me to change other things that were added on because Id that one thing. The extras make them easy to scratch. I work in a garden center with a tree nursery. Two weeks old and that special coating I needed for their experiment but not normal glasses is easier to scratch. It took two MONTHS after my appointment to get functional eye wear of any kind. After being covered by two insurances, I still paid 300 dollars out of pocket. This include a exam, glasses, and a contract fitting class (no contacts) Ive paid less without coverage amd gotten more. I could add that the office smells musty, which, while true, might be me being petty. Avoid it if you can. These are your eyes folks, go someplace where the staff listens to what you say about your own eyes!

I have been a patient with Morrison Associates for years and have ALWAYS received exceptional care from the Doctors. The staff leaves a great deal to be desired. I received payroll deduction as a Pinnacle Health Employee which was a great payment option. I was told by the staff that I should call when the bill was paid in full to AVOID overpayment. I spoke with Karen today who was rude and condescending. She explained to me that she only gets payments once a month. As if I know that?!!! Be kind to your patients or you wont have a job! I also think that some of the staff has worked there so long that customer service is not important to them. It may also be the demographic and that they treat people of color poorly. I am not sure... it pays to be kind.

After few times I told them the glasses few weird, they said to make another eye exam. I paid. And still few weird, I returned and they said it was the frame... told me to change and convinced me to a more expensive one and continue to few weird, went to another place to check and the prescription was wrong! They gave me a hard time to fix it, rude emplloyess and after I talk to my insurance how to proceed, they agreed to refund because it was their mistake all along and they were trying to hide. They didnt refund the whole thing. Stay away from them!!!!!

The staff is very welcoming and professional. They have a great selection of frames that are covered at least partially by my eye insurance. The eye exams are very thorough and Dr. Mariscotti is awesome! I drive from Pittsburgh to see her and I will as long as shes there.
