Dr. Niazi is the best eye doctor in DC... period! I went for an annual eye exam and found out I had an infection... she explained everything very clearly to me and prescribed me medication. When I came back, she checked my eyes again and said the infection was gone, but that I had a haze over my eyes and wearing contacts in the future might leave me with permanently blurry vision. I got a little emotional in the exam room (embarassing!) but she was so nice about it and really seemed to genuinely care about my concerns. She even gave me her cell phone number and promised shed be there every step of the way after she referred me to a specialist who could give me a second opinion. In addition, the rest of the staff at Lenscrafters are so friendly and helpful. They call to remind you about your appointment and are just overall pleasant people to interact with. I tried a few places in DC and was highly disappointed with service, prices, and location, but this place truly has it all. Ill definitely be making all my eye appointments here and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

Awful experience. Walked in to look at Tiffany frames on a Saturday afternoon.... the attendant opened a case and told me to grab whichever ones I wanted to try on.. and disappeared. Another associate some young guy showed up and walked by me 25 mins later.. I asked him if they measured frames for fit to one;s face and if they provided guidance.. he hadnt a clue. He went back to talk to his two associates and they chatted for a bit where one explained to him what I meant... and yet not a single on showed up to help me.. they stood and gossiped. Sucks for them as I was planning on buying the 600 dollar frames and would have on the spot has they helped. They work on commission right? Rude. Unhelpful, Unfriendly. Unprofessional. Too busy sitting around gossiping about parties and whos doing whom. Disgusted. Will never go back. Vision Centers are a dime a dozen and Lenscrafters on Connecticut Avenue is the worst.

Customer service was reprehensible. 1. None of the staff could answer simple questions, such as, "How much for an eye exam?" Answer: "I THINK $XX, but I dont know." Then a giggle. 2. Unacceptable that I, the customer, had to do any work in retrieving a price quote for the frames and lenses I wanted. The employee was completely lost, and turned her computer screen to me so I could figure things out. What? 3. Pretty lousy frames selection. A lot of the same overall frames design by about 3 different companies. Some of us like non-traditional frames (ie frameless). Had the customer service been even mediocre, Id have gone through with a $600 purchase on the spot for the type of frames Ive been seeking. But I cannot reward such atrocious service. Lenscrafters in prior locations Ive lived in are far superior. Sad.

Im still waiing on a call back (over two months now) from management regarding why they can not order screws or even offer a decent repair for frames I purchased there. Why sell the frames if you cant fix them? The manager was extremely rude and didnt understand that I was wanting to purchae replacement frames and just kept forcibly telling me that I couldnt replace the screws from the old frames with the screws from the new ones (something I never asked to do) From the beginning, my plan was to purchase the frames as a whole and move the lenses to the new pair. She said shed call me back and never did and all calls I make to the store go unreturned. I wont be dealing with this location again.

At a loss for words , In an EXTREMELY HAPPY WAY.. I entered the store on 12/15/2015 around 11:45 , I was greeted by a awesome young lady named *Jasmin * I explained I was leaving country and need my glasses like yesterday, she went and talked to the store manager and the technician. I had my glasses in 30min. While I waited they kept me laughing with their conversation. This Location just received a small lab , and is doing exceptional work just imagine if they had more .... definitely pleased and highly recommend this place. Like the previous reviewer, I LOVE Dr. Niazi! She is truly the best eye doctor I have been to, including doctors at major university research centers. She is very personable and explained things to me in a way I understood. I finally understand a problem Ive had with my eyes since I was a child but have never understood with previous doctors. She is the best! I no longer work around this area, but I travel here for my eye appointments because I trust her.

Horrible service. Kept me waiting for a long time even though I had an appointment. The eye doctor has horrible people skills especially with kids. The staff made a mistake and overcharged me. I had to end up coming back into correct the issue and they werent even apologetic. Hands down the worst experience Ive ever had at an eye doctor. Americas Best next door is much better. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere.

Trust me, the other reviews are right. The (main?) eye "doctor" there is EXTREMELY rude. Definitely lacks people skills. Rushed and spoke to me condescendingly. The girls at the front desk were nice, but in my two experiences of going to this location, I will NEVER be back! Worst experience ever.... I dont even write reviews but this is worth warning others!

The staff at the Connecticut Ave. store are great. The problem I have is having to wait for over 3 weeks on lenses that are not in stock, again not this stores fault but if I had known it would take this long I would have gone with another lens.

Great staff and Optician. Only downside is they dont make lenses here, so getting your glasses may take a few days. (I think the prescriptions are sent to Pentagon City Lenscrafters)

My non-LensCrafters glasses broke while in DC on business. They quickly fixed them for free and even pointed out another repair need and did that too. Very nice people!
