Going to this doctor for 4 years for my vision never reached my satisfaction nor expectations. His attitude is by far rude, condescending, and purely unkind. My last visit with him (thank goodness I switched) was utterly offensive and unhelpful, thus "my last visit". During the examination, I asked if I could get an additional set of contact lenses and his response to that was "Stupid decision, but sure...ok." I asked what was so bad about it, and he said "never mind, lets begin." During the portion of reading the Letters, Sentences, and Phrases on the card, he seemed like he was being impatient with my responses to his questions and eager to finish...in all honesty I felt rushed during the entire examination. After that, I asked him a question about "eye floaters" and that I was seeing them in my vision. He said, "eye floaters? ha! you have got to be kidding me, eye floaters havent been proven to be real, you must be just imagining it, thats why you see them." Again, I was completely frustrated with his attitude, I even told him that I see these "eye floaters" constantly and its disturbing my vision. He told me to "quit it, and stop worrying about something Im making myself believing I have." By the time we reached the front office, he swayed me to a pair of glasses and I clearly announced I wasnt interested. He seemed offended that I said that, but I didnt care, so I asked for another set of contacts, made my order and left. As soon as I received the new set, I terminated my services with Dr. Fechter. Now, I have been treated for my "eye floaters." and seeing life without distractions.

Dr. Fetcher and his staff are always professional and courteous. Never had a problem with appointment. Dr. Fetcher is up todate on the newest technology and newest glass frames.
