Although I found Dr. Kanaan to be pleasant and adequate, his office staff was intolerable - rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. One of the staff actually hung up on me. Although he accepts Medicare, he refused to refill my prescriptions or schedule an appointment upon my release from a 6 day stay at Morton Plant because of a balance owing of $143.00. He refused to set up a payment plan. Perhaps that is how medical treatment is conducted in Syria, but I have never experienced such a money grubbing physician here in the past. I see he has nothing but bad reviews and I know why!

He only spent 5 minutes with me and was absolutely no help. He doesnt take time to listen, rushes me through symptoms and doesnt seem to care. Every time I asked a question he made me feel stupid. He didnt impress me enough with his average knowledge to put up with his poor bedside manner. He shouldnt be a doctor. I have no idea that the Board found that Dr. Kanaan failed to maintain adequate medical records for chronic pain patients and failed to use proper diligence in his professional practice in failing to follow up on patient compliance and pain management referrals.

Was in complete shock how unprofessional the staff was. If I wanted to be treated like I was in the ghetto Id go to the ghetto! Witnessed the front desk lady scream and belittle the mail man as well. How is it possible that rude people to this magnitude could be hired? Patrons beware, you choose the scare if you come to this dump
