On 4/17/17 I was discharged from Bayonet Point Hospital. They put a Implantable Loop Recorder in my chest to monitor the daily activity of my heart. They did this because I had 17 syncope or unexplained fainting episodes. I was told Dr. Javeed would review the activity of my heart occasionally and to follow up with him in 6-8 weeks. However, when I followed up with Dr. Javeed 8 weeks after being discharged, he had not reviewed my hearts activity one time. He stated there was a mistake and the doctor who did the surgery was getting the results instead. However, I contacted the Dr. who did my surgery and He stated Dr. Javeed was supposed to send me a home unit, so he could review my hearts activity. Its been 2 months since I got this device put in to monitor my heart and Dr. Javeed hasnt looked at my heart one time. Sadly, no one has reviewed the activity of my heart. I have had palpitations and extreme chest discomfort on a daily basis. Ive yet to even get an apology. I have to find a new doctor that will be willing to look at my heart now.

I have no idea as to how this doctor could receive any negative reviews. I am deeply offended by the comments made by Jarrod Schaefer. Just reading his comments, I can tell his desire "not to be negative" is a sham. Clearly, this guy has some serious issues and if you want an honest and credible review I recommend you ignore this one. Dr. Javeed is the most down to earth doctor I have ever met. I have never received such concern and care from a specialist before. I was beyond pleased with my treatment and blown away by how kind the staff was. No one hesitated to answer my questions and I left feeling very hopeful about my condition. I have been with this doctor for 8 years now and in all my time he has never failed to check up on me. He is truly a remarkable and extremely intelligent man. I would not trust my heart with anyone else.

Dr. Najam Javeed is an amazing Cardiologist. My dad goes to him and the compassion Dr. Javeed shows is really refreshing, his knowledge is mind blowing, the lengths he goes through to make sure you understand your illness is so refreshing, my dad is alive today because of Dr. Javeed. We were so lucky to have found Dr. Javeed. His staff is always helpful and very kind. Najam Javeed is the only Cardiologist I recommend.

Honestly i almost didnt write this review because i dont want to be negative. However, i left Dr. Javeeds office an hour ago and it was so sad. No love or care for what i have been dealing with. Then he said medicine is changing and doctors dont have time to care for patients. Then he said banks in the US are changing as well. Im blown away at the treatment i just received.

My father and I over heard one of the nurses calling a patient the N word. My father is old school and asked her why she referred to a patient like that. She responded and said because the patient was acting like a "N"..... We are white and German but dont believe that nurse was justified in calling an african american patient that.

The medical assistants and receptionists are some of the most rude and unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. After reading some of these other ratings, my wife and I are going to search for a new cardiologist in the Holiday area. We are new to Florida, any suggestions?
