What a great place. Staff are very nice, the office is very upscale and clean. I usually go to a VA optometrist but never again after visiting Dr. Smith. He triple checked my prescription to make sure it was good and that I was accurate with my clarity. Just a great, all around prescription. And after I could see again, I noticed, Dr. Smith is pretty easy on the eyes :-), if you know what I mean ;-) Keep up the good work South Lake. People actually do look at these reviews and its one of the biggest reasons I chose to become a client there. Thanks so much! My headaches are cured!

Events Team

Visited this location exactly 4 weeks ago today for my son who is very nearsighted. Extremely long wait to be seen. Exam was not very thorough, lasted 10 minutes tops. Still waiting for glasses to come in! Office blames lab for delay in glasses and says I should call the lab to track them down! I would NOT visit this location unless you have anything other than a very simple prescription and dont mind a very long lobby wait. They are amateur at best. Even Target gives a more thorough exam and has better service. Do Not Make Your Appointment Here!

Went to South Lake Optical today and was so happy with the service. The Dr is amazing and very honest. He explains everything to you as he examines you. He even said I was a good candidate for Lasik (which he doesnt do). I thought that was so honest since he would be losing business if I were to have that done. I will not go to another eye doctor again. Consider my family and I regulars!

Dr. Smith is amazing! I first met him when I moved to Clermont and had to get a form completed to transfer my PA drivers license to Florida. He was over at Walmart optical then. I learned that he is a veteran and we have had numerous conversations. My wife and I make full use of his services. We love the advise and aid that he gives. We will not use any other Optometrist.

This is great place to get your eyes checked. they are very nice. We have been going to them for 3 years.And they remember you and your name -very impressed. I totally recommend them to everyone. they take the time to check your to get the best eye glasses possible the first time. I love my glasses and sun glasses i purchased from them.
