I have relied on CSAH multiple times in the past couple of years. Twice I had to bring my dog in to the 24 hour emergency care. Both times I was very happy with not only the care my dog Lindy and I received, but the follow up that was done. I have only good things to say about the experiences. More recently I have become more familiar with the hospital as my dog underwent surgery with Dr. Jehn. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Jehn and the entire staff I have worked with. From the surgical nurses to the front desk, the pharmacy department, the patient advocate, of course Dr. Jehn, and literally EVERY single person I have come into contact with has been supportive, positive, helpful and comforting. There are many things that stick out about the care we have received, but there have been two things in particular that truly stick out to me. First, I explained to the staff that my dog is at times reactive to other dogs. With this in mind, they have been nothing but supportive and accommodating to make my dog and myself comfortable in every situation, not to mention keeping everyone else comfortable by limiting the contact she had with other dogs. They took extra time to accommodate our needs and actually recognized the importance of what I was telling them. I have not had the same experience at other facilities. It was such a relief to know they werent too bothered or busy to help make every move with my dog as easy as possible. I never felt like I was burdening them with this. That in itself makes you feel better about the entire situation. Second, I have to acknowledge the time that Dr. Jehn spent with my husband and I when diagnosing our dog. He discovered that our dog had not only had an injury on one leg, but on both. We were shocked to say the least, since we were only expecting to find out the extent of the damage we knew about on one of her legs. However, even though we went through a few moments of shock, it was still a great experience. (Considering the circumstances!) Dr. Jehn sat with us for well over an hour explaining the injuries Lindy had sustained, the multiple options on how to repair them along with our options if we opted not to repair them, the details of what the follow up care would be and the cost of the care. He answered every question in detail and left only after we felt completely comfortable with all of the information we have received. He made us feel confident in the fact that if we had further questions or needs he would be reachable and we could contact him as needed. He has lived up to that and has been available at multiple points when questions arose. The surgical nurses in particular have also been wonderful! Every person I have had questions for or needed assistance from have been so willing to help and support in any way possible. I have never felt like I was unsure of anything or like I had unanswered questions. They are very thorough and my dog seems to be happy to see them every time! Overall, I would highly recommend Coral Springs Animal Hospital. The entire experience has been wonderful and I could not ask for better care for Lindy. I have zero complaints and I am so grateful that they have made this experience the best possible. Thank you to everyone who has helped!

PLEASE READ THIS ALL I need to preface that unfortunately I had to put my dog to sleep here, but the initial visit was atrocious. I went in to see if there was absolutely anything we could do to save my dog from this sickness he had endured for weeks (hes 13 also) So right away i get to the clinic and the receptionist asks me if my dog always wheezes when he breathes and i said "yes its been 3 years that hes had this wheezing problem" she decided that his breathing was "really terrible" which it wasnt, it was normal considering hes been breathing like that for years. Anyway, they scoop him away from me to the back, then they come get me and im speed walking alongside the nurse to get to the room, she asks if they can do oxygen and i say yes and then she asks if they could give him a shot to stabilize his breathing, without question (stupid me) i said yes. So then after some waiting they told me whats going on then they gave me a 3,000+ bill quote and told me that they were going to stabilize him and run tests and keep him for 2 nights and then if he is a surgery candidate they will do it and he MIGHT survive. They told me the surgery was a seperate charge and that id pay for the surgery after. Well, my family couldnt afford this and we had already paid thousands to previous vets for this sickness. so i asked for the next best option- and she said euthanasia. I wanted to take him home for the day and return with my family because i was by myself at the vet and i couldnt handle being alone. which the vet proceeds to object saying "youre going against medical advice, if you take him home it will be a very slow and painful death for him" she told me this 3 times and it pissed me off However i wanted to take him home, So my poor dog comes back breathing and wobbling 10 TIMES WORSE than he was when he got in there and i was INFURIATED to find out they gave my dog BUTORPHANOL. This medication is to alleviate coughing... my dog was NOT coughing he was wheezing as he has been for 3 years AND HES NEVER NEEDED MEDICATION FOR THIS! I was absolutely devastated AND had i NOT brought him there at first he would have had a much more peaceful time at home with me.I was giving him water with a syringe thats how bad he came back to me. I had to go back later with my father that night and Euthanize him. it was the worst experience of my life The night time staff however was very kind and they gave me plenty of time with him. i WORK for a veterinarian and unfortunately she couldnt help my case but im mostly appalled at myself for taking my dog here.

I brought my cat in for what I suspected was a serious uterine infection, which was confirmed. I was told the procedure would be between $4600 and $5100 and if I didnt act immediately, my animal would most certainly be dead by the morning and would need to be euthanized because it would be in pain. Even though there is nothing illegal, it certainly begs the question because you maybe dealing with a pet emergency and may not stop to think about the cost. You may be paying fees that are quite "jacked." Do some research if time permits. In my humble opinion, I wouldnt put it past them to give you a choice for you to spend money on x-rays to confirm that your dog is missing its paw. Captain Obvious didnt walk away, he ran away from here. Although the care and expertise at CSAH is beyond question, this "place" is nothing more than a money factory." Do some research before shopping here. "The only exception maybe if your animal has stopped breathing or bleeding that cant be stopped. In any event get a firm grip on your credit cards" I was in complete shock and dismay at what would typically be between $750-$1500. Can you imagine? They were basically using this pretext to grossly over-charge me by pulling at my and the caregivers heart strings; almost 5X the charge???. I brought my cat into to a competing hospital in the AM in Hollywood, Fl. The initial charge was $1172 and I actually got a credit for $109 leaving the bill at around $1100 total. My cat is doing great thanks to the care at the other veterinary surgeon. The care at the second animal hospital was wonderful and the entire staff was caring. The procedure was done on a Saturday, and the same care was given even though it was the weekend. If you want to go to a production facility, watch them build vehicles at an assembly plant, not an animal hospital that spits out bills as fast as they can turn animals over. At CSAH it seems big profit margins are just as important as the care. Just like additional options when you buy a vehicle, watch how they give you different options for your pet care depending how much youre apt to spend. Its just so sad how they take financial advantage of distraught animal owners. Please remember that every situation is different. I do however encourage anyone to investigate other animal hospitals prior to selecting this one unless you just have too much money to burn and nothing is too good for "Gigi."
