I just happened to come across Dr. Fidlers page and felt I had to write about my experience with his office procedure when it comes to scheduling. I havent been to his office in many years basically due to the fact I felt slightly disrespected as a patient. I made my appointments. late in the day due to my work schedule and was always on time. The length of time I had to sit in the waiting room - up to over an hour with no one else waiting was ridiculous. Once in the exam room, there was another wait. I was told he liked to keep patients waiting so it looked like he was busy. Although I believe hes a good doctor, I walked out of the office, never to return. My time is valuable too.

Up until this past year I had the best of experiences with Dr.Fidler and his wonderful staff. I will not be returning after many years due to the unprofessional way I was spoken to by one of the Doctors new staff. I called back and asked when the Doctor had down time if he could speak with me. I never received a call or correspondence. I have several friends who also will not be returning this year. Staff is most patients first contact they should be courteous and respectful. My experience was not. I will miss Dr Fidler but certainly not the employee I unfortunately had to deal with that day.

In my lifetime Ive had a number of procedures to improve my vision including radial keritotomy (RK) twice, cataract surgery twice in each eye and a detached retina procedure. My first visit with Dr Fidler was very productive, he pointed out details of my complex vision explaining why it was such and what could be done to improve it. Dr Fidler and his staff are very friendly and personal, they generously spent much time with me for which I am grateful. The Fidler Eye Care facility is very substantial, well designed and a pleasure to visit. I highly recommend Fidler Eye Care to my family and friends.

Id been having trouble with my eyes and allergies for years and several friends kept suggesting I give Fidler Eye Care a try. Finally I made the call and Dr. Fidler not only took care of all my obvious eye care needs but he spent a lot of time helping me identify things I could change in my life routine that would help alleviate my symptoms, and they all worked. If you are looking for professional and highly personalize care I think youll really like Dr. Fidler and his team. They have always been on time for my appointments so not sure why someone gave them a one star rating foe being late.

I have been going to Dr Fidler for many years and his care and treatment have always been outstanding. I have seen numerous opthamologists and optometrists over the years ( i am 65 years old after all :) and Dr Fidler has always been the most thorough and knowledgible. He takes his time with his patients, answers all of their questions, and follows up after visits. His staff has always been courteous and helpful as well. Been seeing Dr. Fiddler since I first needed glasses in high school , now that Im 39 I have contacts. the negative review might be because they do more comprehensive testing and they have state of the art equipment. It might seem it is all "little extras"nut they make sure you are 100 % taken care of. I moved a few times and had to see other eye doctors and I could not believe how little they did. Now that Im back, Im thrilled he takes my insurance. J.B.M

Dr. Fiddler and his staff are very thorough and very professional. He does check on all aspects of eye care and Im quite sure would refer you to an eye specialist IF the diagnosis warranted additional treatment. His office is very attractive, with lots of comfortable chairs and reading material! How refreshing! I have found him generally on time. He seems to recognize that the patients time is valuable to them, just as his is to him!

Everyone here is nice till you get the bill. Its a little ridiculous what they charge for an eye exam and then they charge you for extra services that you dont even ask for. They also tell you your insurance covers it, but still have to come out for all the extra services they add. Ive been a patient here for 2 years, Im done! Find an eye doctor thats not trying to scam everyone.
