If youve lived in Fort Lauderdale for years, visiting or just moved here, look no further if you are in need of an amazing optometrist and/or would like cool, hip or practical frames or sunglasses. Im a transplanted New Yorker (Manhattan) via a few years in Chicago and Eyes of Sunrise with Dr. Nick can not only compete but exceed the service and frame selections at big city levels without blinking an eye (that was a pun). Ive been to some of the best in the country including Morganthal Fredericks (NYC), Contacts and Specs (Chicago), etc. and Dr. Nicks professional bedside manner with his patience, knowledge, academic background and extreme intelligence in the optometry world mixed in with a wicked fun sense of humor makes getting a prescription or frames there truly a trip and visit worth making. You will not be disappointed and his staff on hand truly rock as well. Having just purchased from Eyes on Sunrise some Tom Ford prescription sunglasses and eye glass frames that literally were released that week from the company and featured in a top mens magazine made my coolness factor in wearing them off the chart since no one else in the state had them at that time. Granted I sound like a snob, but when it comes to something as personal and that reflects in many respects your personality and character as a pair of glasses, his cutting edge releases and great selection will go along way in satisfying your eye care needs.

I called on the 19th and booked an appointment on the 29 th. I triple checked that I didnt have thebwrong place. When I arrived, they had no record of my appointment, and I was very briskly told I could come at 330pm. I didnt have availability at that time, so the woman did call another patient to try to get them to move but was unsuccessful. I was given nothing but a whoopd and sent on my way. Fine. However, I got an appointment elsewhere later that day, and I had to jump through hoops with Aetna because they had checked my insurance at the office. My records for my phone and the insurance show the appointment being made, and honestly the staff could have cared less for the extreme inconvenience. Be sure to double check your appointment before you show up.

Absolutely the nicest and most helpful office Ive ever been to. I came to Fort Lauderdale for vacation and realized one of my contact lenses werent the right prescription. I called Eyes On Sunrise and was greated by Ralph. I told him my situation and he was most helpful with providing me with samples to carry me through on my vacation. I also had time to browse a little and saw that they carry my favorites brands like Oliver Peoples and Tom Ford

Amazing staff! Great service! Outstanding doctor! Ralph and Dr. Nick are simply awesome! I was feeling down for losing my loved one to my neighbor. Dr. Nick told me that records show I skipped getting my eyes checked for the last two years, which could trigger bad life choices. I made an appointment and sure enough I was wrong for feeling upset.
