My father was not taking care of in this facility. The decision to put dad in a home was a very difficult decision to make but he needed so much more care than I could provide at home. They make it a point to get the permission of the residents to perform all services, my dad being very stubborn and difficult would say no to everything therefore weeks went by without being showered, no mouth care, no shaving. they let him order foods that were not in his diet including regular sodas from dominoes and he is diabetic. He had a filthy tape over ivy (because he was never showered) that I had to ask to have changed, room floor was sticky and dirty (from him spilling things) had gotten a bad infection on legs from not being washed nor have his legs wrapped as they should have been that led to being hospitalized. Fell several times including a bad bruise on forehead from floor(again sent to hospital) last time fell and broke his hip in three places needing surgery. He has deteriorated since surgery. Surgeon called him expressing my concerns no one called me till four weeks later after I had him put in another home after surgery. My father went into Evans walking- no longer walked after admission, use to go to the bathroom- is in diapers now, and in critical condition and can no longer swallow food all from the last fall and not being taken care of properly. When he went to another home the nurse was shocked at how he looked and so unshaven and dirty and said he looked abandoned! She gave him a shower and shaved him and he looked great. I placed him in Evans to get him the care he needed and has gotten less help there and has gotten worse all in a matter of two months., The nurses and aides are not enough to care for all the residents and many are just wandering around unattended. Would not recommend to anyone and the thing I regret the most is that I trusted Evans to take care of my dad and they failed.

Never, EVER put one of your family members in this facility! My mom was there for 8 miserable, horrible days. She ended up with bruses from being "restrained" by 3 of the workers, she was left alone for long periods of time, which meant that her basic needs werent attended to, she and her roommate would have to resort to yelling and hollering for help because their nurse alert lights were never answered, she ended up being sent back to the hospital because her medications were wrong (their screw up) and she was dehydrated from not drinking enough fluids (this goes back to them not attending to basic needs!). Our family is VERY upset and has placed complaints against the facility with the state and the licensing board. I feel sorry for the patients that are there, especially the ones who dont have family to look out for them. This facility is a nightmare!

Front Desk is rude on the phones when you call in asking for Admin. They are working extra hours and tired and rude. No way to leave a message since they wont take one and nobody has voice mail. They were to have his room ready after open heart surgery and he waited outside in a vehicle for a long time before they would take him in. One of his nurses told him to go back to eating as before that there was no special diet.

They killed my grandfather. I sewed them and they only offered me $15,000 with $8,000 in expenses. There was a lady on the floor crying and we had to go to the desk 10 different times for them to go help her. My grandfather had dry poop on him when we visited him. They have 50 different cases against them becuase of death. Dont ever send anyone there!

Most unprofessional Facility I have ever dealt with. Work with many facilities and from a business standpoint its a joke. Do not return phone calls. Does not complete forms needed. Called two weeks straight for a lady named AMY that is never in the office, Does not return calls and staff is completely unhelpful.

So far this rehabilitation center is the best. The staff is awesome- if you dont care what they are serving for lunch or dinner- you can order what you want. They have have what is called open door policy. You just have to be back before 6pm...or make sure you have made other arrangements with the big boss.

I deal with a lot of rehab centers/nursing homes, and I must say this is one of the worst ones Ive seen in a while, I wouldnt trust them with a dog let alone a human being.
