This Dr has another case of the "Ive lost my compassion because Ive made too much money." He is wayyy more interested in collecting your $50 copay than treating your child. Heaven forbid if youre not on medicaid-which pays him about that much for the whole visit. He has 0 bedside manners and is cocky and arrogant. I would rather drive 200 miles to Tampa than ever step foot in his office. His medical treatment usually consists of no treatment! Hell drag you back in the office every 2 weeks with little or NO answers. **!**!**!**!**!**NOT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!**!* DR MARJORIE MORALES IS!! She has much more compassion and explains things to the parent and treats your child like one her own. Like a doctor who has not lost her compassion.

That review was most likely written by one of few customers who had to wait longer than normal because of Dr. Ostermans huge work-load of children. My daughter was seen in a very acceptable amount of time, and, because we were cash paying customers (no insurance yet) we were given the opportunity to pay on something called a sliding scale. I think thats what its called. It was very helpful and appreciated. Also, I had a phone conversation with an assistant named Joy concerning my daughter, and she was so helpful and understanding of my "situation", that I felt compelled to write this review. Dr Osterman is very caring and my son feels very comfortable with him. After we started treatment, my son greatly improved his performance and even got into honor roll! Of course he is still a handful, but doctors cant perform miracles!LOL Im glad his medication is just enough helping him with his issues while he stays active. As in any other medical office, sometimes theres a wait, but nothing out of ordinary. Joy is also very pleasant and helpful, and promptly responds to any requests between appts when we need it. I am grateful for having found him and its a pleasure to be one of his many satisfied patients.

We have been seeing Dr. Osterman for over five years now and have been more than pleased with the atmosphere and style of Dr. Osterman. Joy and Dr. O have made us feel like we are important and have partnered with my family to create a treatment strategy. Over the years they have been big part of my daughters health plan and know us very well. He is very professional, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. I sincerely have been very appreciative of his expertise over the years. I would recommend him to any family with pediatric neurologic needs.

Dr. John Osterman is a true clinician - he is brilliant, knowledgeable and dedicated. Hes not an outgoing person but the level of care he provides and his knowledge base are top notch. Plus he will tell you if he cant help your child. I trust him without reservation in my childs care. He really is outstanding. Other reviewers have called him "arrogant" but I think hes just very intelligent with a more reserved personality. His assistant Joy is fantastic too. Great office!

Dr. Osterman was probably one of the best doctors Ive ever been sent to. He helped me feel at ease about my medical issue, and Im happy to say that I am finally healthy again. Dr. O wasnt in a rush during my appointments and showed a genuine interest in my well being. I am no longer a patient of his but would definitely recommend him -- you wont regret it!

Dr. O is very nice and he really cares about his patients. When my daughter got sick and was hospitalized for 3 weeks, he worked very hard and did a lot of research to figure out what my daughter had. When we had to see him in an emergency he was able to see us and admitted us in the hospital. I lots of great things to say about him. He is wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful!!! He treated my son with Tourettes and my daughter with depression and ADD.
