I have been trying to get my child in there for her conciling per her probation since Dec of 2015 and all I get is we will call u back . when I did get her in there for intake finally they had her scheduled as an adult and called to reschedule her but I have yet to hear from them . so I call today to see whats going on today is april 18 they cant get her in till may she is off probation in may this has been a six month fight to get her in now her probation will be extended when my child has completed everything she needs to except conciling I dont see that as mine of my childs fault its because of new horizons not doing there job. If you dont need conciling you will by the time your done dealing with new horizons they will make you crazy

Very sad facility. The receptionist at the outpatient clinic talks openly about patients in front of other patients. No confidentiality at all. Nobody knows what is going on in this office. Communication is a joke at best. Im embarrassed for them. The "Doctor" I saw was incompetent. He was elderly and couldnt use a keyboard to save his life. He left the door open during our meeting and only said a few words to me. I felt bad for him but at a point in life where you cant mentally do your job anymore its time to throw in the towel. This is where doctors and therapist go when nobody else will hire them. Its such a sad place.

The "new horizons" experience was a set back in life. New horizons could be understood as different, they take "hostages" and call them "clients", ignored my "constitutional rights" and keep me there, for my ex-wife fabricated stories, to serve her own agenda, she asked for a divorce three times. The place appeared to be a " twelve step" recruitment center, either one has a substance issue or a mental issue, a sort of civilian "brainwash center" was taken to the cleaners. The "doctor" had an inability to separate a well contributing member of society from job security.

This place is a terrible outpatient facility. If youre not 15 minutes early you are not going to be seen. Just witnessed the receptionist turn someone away. I came early, its over a half hour after scheduled appointment and Im still waiting. This has become the regular for this place. Im switching to a primary care doctor, the drive will be worth it. Theyve even forgot to schedule my appointment, and defaulted back to a previous appointment that they couldnt honor. Im missing school for this right now...

Im a former client of New Horizons Independence Recovery of the Treasure Coast. To put it simply... I owe my life to this facility and the Saints who are employed there. The level of care far surpasses any high dollar treatment center. The Counsler Assistants are truly passionate about Recovery and speak from their very own experiences. The Detox staff is just as equally part of the miracle that happens there everyday!!!! Thank You All for my new life!!

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. This is a state run facility so of course its bare bones. The counseling is top notch which is what its all about and your going to get what you put into it. If your looking for massages and yoga then go elsewhere but if you want counselors who care and who are former addicts who understand the process then look no further. I was there 2 years ago and still say this was one of the best experiences of my life

I was here two separate times for extended periods of time. I hated it at first because I wasnt there by will. But the Staff & Consulers were so nice and caring but they wont baby you they will ride your butt till you get better. They really know what they are doing and taught me so much about self worth. I honestly love the staff there. The buliding is so nice & they pride themselves into keeping it nice and clean.

Psychiatrist gave me an app for 7 wks but didnt call in enough meds for 7 weeks and has been MIA for the whole wk that Walgreens has been trying to contact him. New Horizons needs to get their act together and stop undervaluing their patients. Im there because Im financially disadvantaged and have to go there, however Im not oblivious to the lack of care.

If you had a bad experience you need a right to the Better Business Bureau I was there today waiting one of the receptionist was speaking in Spanish about how everyone are such junkies and how theyre so dirty and gross and this is a known detox center so disrespectful so rude

Okay first of let me tell you about my "fun time" at new horizons. Ive been there about 12 times and let me just say its probably the stupidest place ive ever been. So in reality it was pretty darn lit if i do say so myself. So there art class. Is pretty

I was baker acted at school and sent to New Horizons on September 15th, my experience there was quite enjoyable, the nurses there were so sweet and understanding, but wow the patients in my unit were sweet as well, but wild every here and there.

Doctors and staff were helpful. Staff cared about people and wanted them to get better. The outpatient office is fairly organized and they are doing good work there. I thank new horizons for helping me when I needed them.

This place is the scum of hospitals. People are treated like animals & the filth is beyond out if control. Mold growing on the walls, etc. I wouldnt let my dog go there!

Erased my notes and my therapist sleeps during my sessions. Also they write what they want in the notes to appear as if theyre doing there job.

This New Horizons is not the computer training school. This is a substance abuse and mental health clinic.
