I just saw an employee of this practice write a five star review. Thats pretty pathetic. If Im not mistaken Nicole Pierre is one of the managers there. In my heart, I believe most of the employees love working with animals but they seem to lack a general understanding and compassion. It can be extremely frustrating. That being said, I havent personally used doctor Greene as a vet for about 5 years because I cant put up with his staff. They are never on the same page. Being that I live in homestead we are all pretty well connected. I have many friends who still use Doctor Greene as their vet and for the most part they are dissatisfied. Aside from the costs of going to this office they all have the same thing to say about the staff. Its become a running joke how no two staff members are ever on the same page. The doctors mean well but there have been a few who seem to lack passion. I remember when this was the place to take your pets no matter what. Over the last 6 years things have slowly declined and ultmiately I had my fill by 2012. I saw a lot of preferential treatment towards several clients, lack of communication to the clients in general and a lack of campassion from most employees. The turn over here is insane, both from clients and staff the same.

I have no words to truly express our gratitude for the love and care the ENTIRE team at Homestead Animal Hospital provides our Danny. They treat him as a part of their family, they know him by name and greet him wth so much love. When he stays for boarding they email us pictures so we can see he is happy and enjoying his time there. The boarding specialists are amazing with him and the other guests. When he got sick recently Dr. Lindsey and Erin gave him the best care and went above and beyond to help us get him the treatment he needed. Erin was by his side the whole time and was so loving in her way with him and with us. I cant say enough the many ways they demonstrate how much love they have for the pets they care for. Cari always greets Danny with hugs and kisses and treats us so respectfully and kind and remembers us by name as well even after we havent seen her in a while. Thank you Dr. Greene, Dr. Lindsey for the humane and loving way you treat all your patients and their families. Please bring your fur babies to see Dr. Greene or any of his Drs. You wont regret it. I am shocked at the one negative review, I have been stationed here for four years and this Homestead Animal Hospital was just about the only thing I liked about the area. We have two dogs, and a cat. I have taken the cat into the office twice for what I thought were emergencies, one was a UTI in which he almost died. I thank them for saving my cats life, 3 days of hospitalization and all the treatment was around 600 bucks, which he was VERY up front about the price(we have animal insurance so it was not an issue). The other time I thought my cat broke his leg(it was just swollen from fighting with our dog). He said he didnt think the cat needed x rays, which would have cost me money. So, he was actually saving me money. They have a generous military discount so If you are gonna be stationed in Homestead, I recommend this place.

I havent experienced the issues others have complained of. Everyone was on the same page when I have spoken to them, and if a question couldnt be answered they acted promptly to find an answer. I was treated with the utmost respect, as was my pet. We recently switched to Dr. Green because our previous vet was so busy I felt like we were rushed through appointments and I couldnt really discuss anything with them. Definitely not the case with HAH! Another thing that sets this vet above the other clinics Ive been to was seeing the staff responding to a dog who was being put down. You could tell everyone was feeling it. I certainly dont feel like my pets are just random animals to them. Theyre cared for and loved. Couldnt ask for more than that.

After taking to the owner and the administrator and other nice and helpful employees in teaching me and helping me understand more about what was happening with my puppys marshmallow and prince I have seen that they are very good and very educated and it was all a misunderstanding and the way it was said to me before but after being addressed personally about the situation I have understood more and then more satisfied The treatment I had got for my dogs the doctor is very nice and caring and very understand and yes I will be taking my puppy again thanks to all there help there getting back to health

Dr Fauz Michaels has been my animals Vet since 1984. I have had over 20 animals that have gone to him. From cats being neutered and spayed, declawed, illnesses and surgeries. Ive had dogs that have also been spayed neutered as well as having ears and tail clipped etc. hes a great doctor and he really knows his stuff. He is affordable and has worked with me when I havent had much money. two of my cats had one nail grow back after years of being declawed and he took care of it I did the surgery for free. My sons google up with his sons and hes been like family to me . I wouldnt trust in either vet .

Thank you Dr. Greene and staff of Homestead Animal hospital for saving our Lab after being bitten above eye by brown recluse spider, when his head swelled up, eye closed, skin tissue burst with the smell of gangrene, we were sure he was a goner, however Dr. Greenes prompt diagnosis, surgery, hyperbaric chamber sessions, and frequent follow up to further express wound, saved his life. Were in our third generation of dogs being treated at Homestead Animal Hospital, with no regrets. Thank you again

I cannot say enough about this animal hospital. EVERYBODY is so friendly. I did not have to wait long at all, once I saw the technician, she was so kind to my dog and patient in explaining things. I saw Dr. Greene and he was equally friendly and most importantly so caring for my dog. This is BY FAR the nicest vet and vets staff I have ever encountered. On top of everything else they are very reasonable in pricing. If you love your pet, you should take it here!

I took my puppy bulldog in today because they were not eating the lady at the lobby told me over the phone that it was a dollar for the exam and whatever else my dogs need it was extra and it turns out she freaked out saying my dog had something really contagious and that I was contaminating the building and all the rooms and was just like a mad women and. Told me the dollar exams were for the healthy dog not the sick one

Sadly I took my little dog yesterday really sick at 9:00 am the person in the lobby very cold told me they didnt have appointments until Thursday she knew I was devastated. Tonight my dog is dead, we have to put her to sleep, possibly they had to do the same but people, you need to have feelings for pets and pet owners if you work at an animal hospital. Very sad they behave like that/
