I got a new puppy last week. After calling around to several local vets and getting prices as well as getting some questions answered (First time Ive owned a pet as an aduly, so I have my share of questions and concerns). LW Veterinary was the fourth or fifth place I called. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, patient, and thoroughly explained everything she told me, anticipating my questions even before I asked them. After asking about what I could do to control fleas (he had them), I was explained the different options as well as offered a free first puppy dosage, regardless of whether I decided to make an appointment with them or not. She also mentioned the longevity of the business (if I remember correctly the Dr. had been running that practice, in that location, for over 23 years - a big selling point for me) I called a few more places, slept on it, and made my appointment the next day. When I arrived to pick up my free flea treatment, the receptionist surprised me with a complimentary bag of Hills puppy food, as well as a considerable amount of printed information that has proven to be very valuable in helping me learn more about owning a dog. Bear in mind, my appointment is not even for a few more days from right now. Price wise, most of the vets fell within $5-$10 of each other. Some were more expensive for certain procedures while cheaper on others. These guys fell right in that same range. They werent the cheapest, but they were close. FYI if you are looking to save money and need a budget vet in the area, check out Florida Aid for Animals. I have yet to actually meet the vet, and will post a follow-up review (albeit much shorter in length and detail) shortly after I do. So far, this office has already gone above and beyond the call of duty and I can only hope that my actual customer experience lives up to the initial impression - as Im sure it will!

The staff is friendly and greet you upon entering. My issue is with the service itself. I would recommend them, maybe, if you dont mind over paying for shots. I urge everyone to price shop in the area. No more than that unless you dont mind paying and subjecting your animal to unnecessary tests. I took my cat in for a (likely but not yet diagnosed UTI). $80 later we had a urinanlysys done and no diagnosis. He was asking me if he should sent the urine test for further testing and my cat could get a scan of some sort. I asked if it was a UTI and he said they have no way of knowing. Just that the urine had blood and bacteria and potentially crystals. Without going into too much backstory, I had told him about my cat who passed last year unexpectedly from cancer and his auto immune system was severely weakened. The first symptom was a UTI for him so I am overly cautious. Knowing that, at one point he actually said that we cant rule out cancer at this point without the test. I felt like he was taking advantage of my emotions and past experience. So I left immediately and made an appointment with another vet that same day. I had the urinanlysys records sent over from that morning that eua gallie had done. I REPEAT, SAME TEST RECORDS!!! new vet came in, said your cat has a UTI here are the meds he needs. I asked how they knew that without the additional tests, they said we just looked at the paperwork your original vet sent in. I will never go to this vet again. I hope this was a one time thing because the reviews on Google were all very good. This could have been several hundred dollar visit, luckily I knew when to call it quits and go to someone who wasnt just trying to sell unwarrented services. Please please do your research!!!

Have taken my dog to many vets over the years... I havent had any real issues until I started coming here. The assistants are great and knowledgeable yet the doctors always seem like their in a hurry. Ive had a lot of issues here regarding my dogs medications. She has a reoccurring skin infection from allergies ever since she was a pup so thats the only medications she really requires yet Ive received many many different prescriptions here that wasnt what she needed. Not to mention they make you use their overpriced pharmacy instead of my usually cheap or free antibiotics for my dog through publix. I was not very impressed by my experiences here and have had much better experiences since I switched to maybeck animal clinic on new haven. I originally only choose this place because reviews were decent and it was close but it is apparent these reviewers are either lying or eau gallie has been through many different hands and buildings throughout the years. I would not recommend this vet to anybody locally there are better options elsewhere! Also the subcontractor building eau gallie vets newest location has been riding around advertising that eau gallie vet has not paid their contractor even. Thougb their buildiing is basically done and you can personally see this truck riding around Melbourne with the sign attached but most days you can find it parked across the street from their newest location.

We were strongly warned not to use Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital by a local canine expert. We went to them with anyway for a routine puppy examination appointment because their location was very close to our home. The appointment did not go well. Ill spare you the gory details, but simply explained, the office administrator and Veterinarian proved everything our local canine expert said to be true and an accurate description. Their statements and actions made it clear that the health of our puppy was a low priority of theirs and, in fact, we eventually left without allowing them to touch him. We should have listened to the warnings we were given beforehand. One detail I will quickly mention, while we were in the waiting room there was a man walking around both the interior and exterior of the vets office and taking notes on a clipboard who told us he was "an inspector". When I asked him what he was "inspecting", he told me, it was a secret and wasnt going to say. When the office administrator, Gemma, saw me speaking to him, she then brought him through a door into the back of the office out of sight from the waiting room. Again, very simply said, we should have listened to the warnings and information given to us beforehand and not even tried to use this vet.

I was really impressed by this vet when I took my dogs here until I took my cats here. I brought a muzzle for my big black lab mix because the last vet I took her to put one on her himself and was scared which shes really not scary she just barks and barks. But anyways the vet at the Eau Gallie vet hospital saw that I had my own muzzle on my dog and he said "Oh no you can take it off if her if you like." Which made me so happy and he was giving her treats and he said I want her to be able to trust me on her next visits to me. He made me feel so at ease he definitely knew what he was doing he was fantastic! When I took my cats here it was different story. They wouldnt even let me see the vet even though I set up this apt 1-2 weeks before hand. The vet tech or vet assistant told me to go somewhere else and that they dont do shots which they just did shots on my dogs like a month before. It made no sense and really upset me because I had thought I had found a good vet office finally.
