Dr. Novelli and his staff are wonderful with my dog Tori and I. Tori is a larger Pitbull/Boxer/Lab mix and can be a little intimidating at first until you get to know her. I have tried and taken her many places to get her nails trimmed with little to no success. She just is terrified to let anyone touch her pawls and how strong she is just makes it a battle. The first time i took Tori to Dr. Novelli she needed to get some routine vaccines and her dreaded nails cut. I was hesitant to ask the staff at Affordable Care to trim her nails just because of recent experiences and embarrassment. Also i know most places make notes in the pets records and somewhat label them as a "problem". Finally during the exam I asked Dr. Novelli if we can try to trim her nails and warned him of the way she reacts. To this day i have never seen Tori be more comfortable getting her nails trimmed by Dr. Novelli and his staff. The former battling process was over in a blink of a eye with little to no reaction from Tori. I knew right then this clinic was something special. I will never take my pets to another vet clinic again, nor will i attempt to trim her nails. It is a little bit of a drive for me to get there but i dont think twice about making an appointment. Scheduling was a breeze and pricing was not a issue either i think Affordable Vet Clinic is cheaper then most. Furthermore I TRUST Dr. Novelli and his staff and that really is the biggest thing when choosing a provider for a loved one.

I work with rescues & accepted a large dog with heartworm, a skin condition resulting in the loss of fur and other physical issues. While his current condition is vastly improved since has was first accepted into foster care, he still has a ways to go, and when he arrived at my home this week, I needed to get his baseline & establish a treatment regimen. At Affordable Care Vet Clinic, I was verbally berated by a vet tech carrying on over how SLOW KILL is wrong and the doxy and heart guard was inadequate...etc,,,,.Additionally, she was holding me accountable for the rough shape poor he is in and continued to question why "I" took so long to get him to the vet. Yes, a Vet Tech....I told her that apparently we had a communication issue and that I wanted another Vet Tech to complete the prelim assessment. The practice knew of his condition, as I provided all info over the phone when I made the appointment yesterday. I had requested a price estimate 2 weeks ago for HW treatment on a 60-65 lb dog. Never heard from them. The Vet came in and started yelling at me because I refused this particular vet tech..... so Henry and I just walked out. I dont know what the drama was about but I chose not to be part of it. Not worth it...ya know? Life is too short. While this practice is an affordable alternative, they have become numbingly negative since their expansion. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Greg and his staff are wonderful. When I started going to him about 10 years ago, I was switching from a vet who wanted to pull all of my geriatric dogs teeth, which I found to be cruel. Dr. Greg found it to be unnecessary, and after a cleaning determined that 3 only teeth required extraction. Later, he was able to diagnose her with a heart condition that the old vet had missed her entire life and attributed to tracheal collapse, which she didnt even have, though sadly by then it was too advanced to save her. Since then, he has taken care of all of my dogs. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, and I have never had anything but a positive experience with anyone in their office. Earlier this spring when one of my dogs became very ill and a bowel obstruction was suspected, requiring numerous tests, xrays, blood work, and medications, they squeezed us in at the end of the day and stayed late to see him. I expected an astronomical bill, especially when he had to go back and spend the entire next day there getting care, but was shocked at how low it was (somewhere around $350 if I recall correctly). While normal yearly care (shots, exams, etc) are about average for cost compared to other vets, when it is unplanned and urgent, they are very affordable.

I visited the Affordable Care Vet Clinic for the very first time with my older Great Dane/Pointer mix named The Dude. The Dude was in pretty bad shape, riddled with arthritis in his hips and spine. I put off going to the vet for a while because I knew the inevitable would have to happen. Dr. Kellie was our Dr. and I believe Ally was our Tech. Long story short, I unfortunately had to lose my best friend that very night and it was extremely painful, however I was overwhelmed by the love and care shown by Ally and Dr. Kellie. I would have recommended the Affordable Care Vet Clinic to anyone I know without hesitation, but my experience did not end there. Yesterday I received a sympathy card from the Clinic for my loss of The Dude. The card was signed by every person at the clinic and small notes were written by Ally and Dr. Kellie. The clinic went above and beyond and I truly feel that they care! That means quite a bit when it comes to choosing a place to look after a pet. Thank you all so much! Garrett Lakits

When my fiancé and I moved with our four pets, we had to find a new vet closer to our new home. I had such a great relationship with my old veterinarian, I was really hesitant in finding new care. I have two cats and two dogs, one cat having an extensive health history at just three years old. As with most people, my pets are my children. As soon as I met Dr. Greg and started bringing my pets here for their wellness exams, they were nothing but polite, informative and accommodating. They bend over backwards to make your visit a pleasant one. I have an online Petly account so I can check up on my pet’s records at any time. The office assistant even printed off my VPI form, filled it out and faxed it for us so we didn’t have to when we got home. I love all of the newsletters, emails and telephone reminders. They genuinely care about your pets. I cannot say enough positive things about this veterinarian office and Dr. Greg. I am so happy and relieved we found them to care for our pets.

I ONLY rated one star because it doesnt let you leave NONE! I was appalled by the way we were treated tonight. Its hard enough to make the decision to put your best friend to sleep but to go into the appointment after crying for two days over it, to have the Vet come into the room with an attitude, interrogating and snapping at you...and telling you that they are the only vet qualified to make decisions about your animal? NO THANK YOU. I had the audacity to talk to another vet about my dog...Mister Vet (whos name I was never told) at Affordable didnt like the fact that I consulted elsewhere and really laid into me. I have NEVER been treated like that before anywhere and I certainly will NEVER go back. I miss the OLD "DOC" from back in the 90s. He started this practice....it sure isnt the same anymore. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT COMPASSION FOR YOUR PET!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS JERK!!!!!!
