I WOULD CHOOSE THIS EMERGENCY CLINIC OVER ANIMAL SPECIALTY HOSPITAL (ASH) IN ROCKLEDGE ! TRUST ME..I THINK IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME,MONEY, AND YOUR ANIMALS LIFE. An absolutely amazing facility filled with knowledgeable , professional, and friendly staff ! I now have peace of mind knowing that there is an emergency clinic that actually cares about your animals. I called the clinic on a Sunday afternoon (9/21/14), with a puppy with an EXTREMELY upset tummy (diarrhea, slightly lethargic) and the receptionist was honestly THE most thorough and nicest receptionist I have ever dialed through to. I cant believe she spent almost 15 minutes on the phone with me.. thats unheard of from practices like this ! I was tight on money (due to a $3500 surgery that went wrong with ASH of Rockledge) and she recommended me to apply for CareCredit , and it helped a lot. I knew immediately after talking to her if anyone could help my dog it would be them. The vet tech and doctor were awesome, and the test came back quickly and my puppy was sent home with proper medicine. I was reassured by the receptionist that if I had ANY problems just to call and there would be somebody there to help me 24/7. Well , the next day my puppy was still not doing great and I called.. she was able to put me on hold and speak to a doctor about what was still going on. The doctor had recommend for me to do a few extra things since she still wasnt completely better, and they helped A LOT. SECOND VISIT: My puppies leg , had a fracture and I choose Dr. Daubs at ASH of Rockledge (<--I WOULD BEWARE OF HIM,YOU CAN ALSO SEE MY REVIEW FOR THAT CLINIC) to perform surgery and I considered it pretty much a nightmare. My puppies only hope for a "normal" leg is amputation, in my opinion due to his unprofessionalism and lack of experience. I really wished I wouldve found Dr. Goett before having Dr. Daubs even near my puppies leg. The doctor I originally saw referred me to the surgeon Dr.Goett for a very reasonable price (in-house referral) , because of my concerns with her hind leg. To my surprise he even asked how Remi was doing in regards to her stomach issues...wow great communication amongst staff! He was so knowledgeable (made me begin questioning Dr. Daubs veterinarian education.. joking.. kind of) He was able to reassure me on the many questions and thoughts I had with amputation. He recommended we see if with time since shes still growing if her leg might end up supporting her enough to leave it. The original surgeon ("Dr".Daubs) told me she had no chance of having a leg that could even slightly function, and that it should be amputated ASAP for another $3,000-$4,000.. on top of the $3,500 for his faulty surgery. Thats practically 3x the other 5 quotes Ive received from various reputable vets. My biggest regret is not finding this team and practice way earlier! Remi is my first dog, and after the experience with Dr. Daubs at ASH of Rockledge I thought that all animal practices just were unsympathetic and cold. I am SO happy to be proved wrong! Will and HAVE been spreading the message to co-workers, clients, family, and friends with pets.

Back in March 2012, our 6 yr. old boxer, Kendra, was bit on her head by a 5 foot eastern diamond back rattle snake. It was on a weekend afternoon and we were 110 miles from our regular vet, which was closed. We took Kendra immediately to AECC where she was taken in. We were told up front about the possible treatment options and how much we could be looking to spend based on the method of treatment we chose. It was costly. They offered us the option of applying for Care Credit (credit card), when they could have said, if you don’t have the money we won’t treat your animal. Thank goodness they did because we needed it. It was our choice to proceed with treatment and we knew the cost. We didn’t expect it to be cheap especially when there are doctors and medical personnel on staff 24/7 caring for our pet. The level of care that they provide is the highest level of care that I have ever seen. The doctors did not sugar coat anything and they did not give us false hope. They were very straight forward and explained everything they were doing in a way that we could understand. I never once felt that they were trying to take advantage of us knowing we just wanted our dog to get better. In fact my thoughts were the exact opposite. There was, and still is, no doubt in my mind that they did all they could for Kendra. Kendra spent 8 days at AECC in intensive care and I drove up all but one day to see her. Every day I went there I saw staff members that stopped by on their day off just to see how she was doing. All the staff members were very nice and were genuinely concerned for her. Even when I wasn’t there I received calls anytime there was a change in her condition, good or bad. At one point, after several doses of plasma (white blood cells) the doctor called and asked if he could bring in his own dog in to do a direct blood transfusion to Kendra. If that doesn’t show how dedicated they were to helping Kendra I don’t know what does. After 8 long days Kendra was sent home. There was quite a bit of wound care and every time we called AECC with a question, morning, noon or night, there was always someone there. God forbid the day we ever need another emergency visit like we did that day. But if it does arise, I would drive 110 miles back there to ensure my animals get the best treatment available. Kendra is back to her old self and we owe it all the doctors and medical staff at Animal Emergency Care Clinic. We can’t thank them enough for the extraordinary care they provide.

Went in with my french bulldog with puppies stuck. They quoted me over the phone 1100 to c section and quickly told me they my not need to they would try a medicine to put her back to delvering,so it may not even be that much. That medicine also helps the mothers tests fill up milk for babies. Although I am thankful they were there and able to help and very kind to me. They waited til the last dollar was paid to even begin calling the surgeon.(come to find out they over charged me and wouldnt just give it to me since obviously I needed a real vet) I was paying right then!!!!!! They charged me triple the price never giving her the medicine to start labor. Did an ultrasound told me only 2 puppies were stuck well there was 3. I was so happy they were saving my baby at the time I didnt care. Well they told me She had to spayed her or it would be wayyyyy more. Come to find out if at all possible YOU NEVER SPAY A MOMMA DOG WHEN SHE IS GOING TO NURSE!! I agreed because I never wanted in this situation again and I didnt plan on it to being with! I had no clue about any of this! Well on top of all that they sent her home NO medicine at all for pain or infection. TOLD ME THEY Were GIVING HER A COLD PACK NEVER RECEIVED THAT. Also after a c-section your supposed to send home the placentas so she can nurse her babies. Well now after giving them every dollar we had in which they knew. I was stuck watching my baby suffer. Because you dont spay your dog until after her puppies wean off. So now Liberty isnt able to feed her puppies or move. They wanted me to further endanger her bringing her to the vet the next day. Ummmmmmm even woman cant do that!!! The surgeon they called in though was amazing although pricey. 400 just for him to come in and do his job. I will never ever recommend you bring your babies here. The first vet was not very bright. No warning that in no way was it safe to put the puppies in with their mother because she was so out of it she couldnt take care of them much less stay awake. The instructions were nothing about caring for her wound or the puppies. Please drive if you have to they will wait anyway until the last dollar is paid even though I was over charged so it was paid. They did give a 5 percent discount for my husband being a disabled veteran. The one star is for the surgeon. The one office girl that came to explain everything to me was amazing as well I just didnt know the right questions to ask. Wish I would have went with my gut and left.
