This place deserves a -1000 . They are very UNPROFESSIONAL they always are rude and nasty.. we transfer my granddaughter from kings bay pediatric due to the fact that they we moved to homestead and pediatric associates are 1 block away from my home so I figured in case of an emergency my daughter can rush my granddaughter to the clinic. Every since we started going there they could never find my granddaughter in there system. They get upset and rude when you show them that she is active with united, then they turn around and say "If you want her to be seen here you have to pay out of pocket or take her to the emergency hospital... well today was the straw that broke the camels back.... I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia and was told to have my granddaughter to be seen by her pediatrician to get some antibiotics, well Michelle was very rude and nasty towards my daughter and said that my granddaughter does not have insurance and that we would have to pay out of pocket to be seen, when I tried to show them that she does have insurance and even called the insurance company to verify they still turn us down and said to pay or take her to the E.R... Then I spoke with Samantha another nasty rude individual and gave her a piece of my mind. My granddaughter is 17 months old and was born with fluids around her heart and is an asthmatic. We ask them for her medical records and they also said we had to pay out of pocket for that too... anything for them to pocket peoples money when they dont want to do there job but want a title... I do not play when it comes to my family so we have them on video this time and previous time them being rude, nasty and disrespectful. I called there district office and I also notify the state for a complaint. This clinic needs to close down for good... They need they Medicaid license to be taking away because as they juicing up the insurance they are telling you to pay out of pocket. Well enough is enough.. I am going to make sure that they are going to be investigated ASWELL as closed down. Then when the district office called the homestead pediatric associated they explained it to the office manager and when she spoke with me she stated that my granddaughter does not show on there system as being active with her health insurance. Wow!!! When the head honchos verified it so when I explained to the office manager on how we have them on video recording on how they talk to there client/patients and told her matters were going to be taking the office manager hung up in my face and didnt even tried to call us back... THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!! If you TRULY LOVE YOUR KIDS I SUGGEST THAT YOU FIND YOU A REAL BETTER PRACTICE. DONT SETTLE FOR THIS PLACE BECAUSE ITS CLOSE TO YOUR HOME... WHAT THEY DONT KNOW IS THAT I DO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT OUR EXPERIENCE WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER FAMILY.... THEY DO NOT CARE THAT IS ALL FOR A PAYCHECK BECAUSE PEOPLE THAT DO CARE AND THAT ARE DEDICATED WOULD TRY TO HELP FIX THE MATTER AND NOT MAKE IT WORST!!!! STAY AWAY,THEY DO NOT CARE IF THEY DID I WOULD NOT BE WRITING THIS REVIEW!!! MICHELLE,SAMANTHA AND THE OFFICE MANAGER WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO THEM BECAUSE I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THIS GOES TO THE MEDIA WITH A SICK BABY THEY DO NOT CARE TO TREAT!!!

Update on old review:8/15/16 Worst office visit ever! I love Dr.Junco and Grandal but this office is so flipping horrible on time management that its utterly ridiculous. My childs appt was at 1:45 we were just called in the back at 2:30 after raising hell. The office manager stuck us in room 7 with no paper on the exam table or anything. As if she was upset that I was upset.I will not be returning to this office. Literally no regard for the time of patrons. They treat you as if theyre giving out free service. If I wanted to wait this long I wouldve went on Palm drive and really got free vaccines. If you want to wait 2 hrs for the doc to come in the room for two second by all means then this is the office for you. Again Dr.Junco & Grandal are Gems,,,horrible office staff entire office needs to be fired. We just walked out at 3:24. I put the clipboard down and left without any stickers for my baby. Go figure with the front end and back end both packed nobody was at check out either. Insanely horrid experience. Old review::I love Homestead Pediatric Associates. The doctor I perfer to see is Dr.Junco; I just love her. All 3 of my children are patients and Ive seen all of the Doctors there. Dr.Grandal, Dr. Junco, and Dr.Bustamante are all great physicians, care greatly for the children, and the children love them too. So dont freight much if youre thinking about becoming a new patient and dont know which Dr. To chose because theyre all awesome. If you live in homestead you should definitely be coming here.

The nurses and assistants are not at all profecionales. They gave us formula for babys that was expired, and no apologies were offered. I do not recommend this pediatrician. They do not realize they work with babys, babys deserve much more attention and affection. Very bad place ..... las enfermeras y asistentes no son para nada profecionales. ellos nos dieron formula para babys que estaba vencida, y ni disculpas ofrecieron. no recomiendo este pediatra. no se dan cuanta que trabajan con babys, que merecen mucha mas atencion y cariño.

Im highly disappointed with the homestead office. I called because my son has been sick and was told the doctor would call be around noon. I never received a call. I also made an appointment for later that day just in case. When the doctor felt no need to call me back concerning my sons health, I did not go to the "same day appointment" I made. Then the staff had the audacity to call me and tell me it would be courtesy if I cant make my appointment to cancel 24 hours in advance. Had she noticed, I made the appointment 3 hours before scheduled time. Impossible to cancel 24 hours. Had she also noticed, the doctor didnt call me back! Why would I even bother going to a crappy place where my sons issues arent a concern. Hes had 4 previous surgeries pertaining to the issues he was having the day I called. Instead I took him to the ER where he was admitted. CRAPPY PLACE FILLED WITH CRAPPY DOCTORS. I wouldnt recommend this place to no one. We signed up to see dr junco, seen her once. The last doctor didnt even bother to read his history. Joke. This place is a joke.

The lady on the left computer is VERY sarcastic & rude. Shes far from nice and helpful. She should NOT be working in the front desk check-in. Please put her somewhere very far from the customers/patients. Also, a very sick child should not be turned away from being seen by the doctor. Especially, after having waiting a full 50 minutes in the lobby. Which brings me to, waiting times. It is true that the lobby waiting times have increased significantly recently. Ive already checked-in twice this month and waited both times over 50 minutes. It used to be that we would have to wait 50 minutes in the room to get seen by the doctor. Now, its the other way around. Regardless, something is not working and needs to be changed. One more incident and Ill seriously be giving great thought to switching pediatricians. I want my kids to feel welcomed in such a vulnerable place. Not, surrounded by faces that dont want to be there doing the same thing everyday. PLEASE FIX IT!
