Scheduling an appointment was a headache. Once I finally got someone on the phone I was placed on hold for 5 minutes just to schedule an appointment. My daughter was a new patient so I came in 4 days earlier (on a Thur) to fill out the paperwork for the medical records transfer. I called back on Monday at 9:30 am to see if the previous pediatrician faxed in my daughters health records and I was told, literally, "To call back after 1:30 pm because they have not checked the faxes from Thur, Fri, and over the weekend and the girls who check the faxes do it around 1:30 pm." Are you serious? What type of professional establishment would tell a customer something like that. This place is more of a health clinic than a pediatrics. I waited 1 hr and 30 mins for a scheduled appointment. When you go into the back office it is similar to a shoe box with no place to move. There are maybe 2 physical exam rooms in the back with 50 patients waiting in the front. The bathroom is separate from the office in which you have to ask for a key in order to use it. Upon entering the bathroom I almost vomited. The bathroom smelled like urine and feces. You can tell it hadnt been clean for some weeks. I am definitely not going back here and am changing my pediatrician asap.

I can sit here and go on and on regarding all my experiences, However Im going to simplified it to this. My 18 months old baby got chicken pox because he was exposed to the virus and the nurse/office staff somehow missed his vaccine. When I took him to the doctor the first thing the doctor said was you cannot have that child here, you need to get this child out of here. As a mother as a patient I was in complete disbelieve. The new office is beautiful the designs is perfect but is this a HGTV show or a doctors office. There is no privacy, the offices are separated by a curtain and the space of each room is about 6 ft wide by 9 ft long, there is NO SPACE to move around. TERRIBLE. I had schedule a late afternoon appointment for my 3 kids, I called that day very early in the morning to tell them I had an emergency and I wasnt going to be able to make it and they were charging me $60.00 because I didnt keep my appointment. Is this normal practice? I had it with this Office. I cannot put my childrens health on the hands of unprofessionals. Every Experience is unique and different, just make sure you do your research.

If you expect your child to consistently be seen by the same person every visit I suggest not going here. Ive been going to this office from birth up until my childs 18 month check up and each vist had me worrying about their quality and knowledge. Today I received a explanation of benefit payments from our insurance braking down what they have billed our insurance for my childs 18 month check up which only consisted of them taking her hight and weight and asking a few questions about her milestones. Our insurance was billed for surgery, lab tests, medical care, and 5 other med. services that are not specified. When I called the office to speak to the person in charge with billing I was put on hold 3 times never getting to speak to the person doing the billing in their office. I will now be taking this up with my insurance and having them dealing with this fraud and taking my child elsewhere from now on.

He llevado a mi hija desde su primer mes después de haber tenido una extremadamente mala experiencia en otro lugar con el pediatra Héctor Trujillo (muy mal medico nose donde se graduó) horrible. Portofino pediatric ha sido sin duda la Mejor opción que he tomado. Diferentes pediatras (diferentes opiniones profesionales en un mismo lugar ) las enfermeras un amor . Limpieza total ! Me encanta esta clínica y sus PROFESIONALES.

My pediatrician is AWESOME! She was my pediatrician since I was born & I bring my 2 kids to her since they were born. The doctor went to the hospital to take care of me when I was born & I was so happy that she was able to go too when my 2 kids were born. Every time I have called, no matter what time it is, I always get a call back right away. Whenever my kids are sick, I am able to bring them right in as walk ins. The staff is friendly & attentive. I like the modern, open space & the separate well & sick area. The medicines & labs to be drawn are conveniently sent electronically to the pharmacy & laboratory conveniently located in the same building. I wouldnt trust my kids anywhere else!

Hello my experience with this pediatric clinic was by far one of the worst ever. Every time I went to have my son checked he never saw an actual doctor, and was seen by nurses, who by the way needed to be reminded to wash their hands after having handled previous patients. In addition to this, when the techs came to check my sons height and weight the were also reminded to wash their hands and change the paper covers off the tables, not to mention that when reminded to do this things they would become rather hostile and rude to the point that I actually exploded and told one of them off. My advice to every one is to stay away from this place if you value the health of your baby.

Worst place ever i wouldnt recommend this place to no one i took my teen for a physical and they did blood work 2 times on her and they said that her blood work came back saying she had a std they made me take her to miami childrens hospital for them to check her up they did blood work and a full check up on her and all her work came back positive she did not have anything wrong with her they said i dont know why they would say that to you if your daughter is perfectly well my daughter was feeling down since they had lied to her with that terrible lie wouldnt take my daughter to this place ever again....worst doctors ever..

I was previously taking my daughter to Centers of Pediatric care, I loved Dr Emilio but the office staff were HORRIBLE and I gave up with their attitudes and horrible service by phone etc. I was recommended by my neighbor to Dr.Nivia Vazquez since the first day I just called the office I loved the helpful staff and how nice and collaborating they were, so friendly! The visits have been great and the cleanliness in the offices are just amazing and how they have a well office separate than the sick patients is amazing! I absolutely love everything about you guys and all your services, best Homestead pediatric.

I couldnt ask for a better pediatrician for my kids Nivia Vazquez is an amazing person very caring. she came to the hospital to check on my newborn and our her staff Cara, Natalie,Melanie and Rosy. Are amazing and Ill never forget when my daughter forgot her cough medicine and they open the doors at 10 p.m. after hours just to get my daughters medicine and that was Susie is an amazing kind of person that will always be there for us no matter what. Hands down to them and all there staff. I truly recommend them you should give it a try and you wont regret it
