I began going to Family Chiropractic as a new patient, new to chiropractic care about 9 mo the ago. I had been in pain 24/7 with plantar fasciitis and an additional banding issue on my right foot as well as intermittent hip pain. I walked with a limp and had tried everything including seeing a podiatrist, receiving injections, wearing a stiff therapy boot at night, PT stretches, compound Rx cream, expensive shoe inserts, ugly orthopedic shoes, lotions, potions, and pain relievers. The pain was horrible. I was nervous about chiropractic care but my next option was surgery. I received X-rays and thorough explanation of my issues and a plan to correct the problem. Dr. Patel explained everything and the in-office treatment payment plan was actually less expensive than what my insurance copay & included more services. My hips were way out of alignment, along with my spine which was all contributing to the foot pain. I felt improvement with my first adjustment, and by the end of my treatment plan, I was/am PAIN-FREE! To think my next step was SURGERY according to the podiatrist!! My foot was never going to feel better because the problem WAS NOT my foot! The amount of pain, money & time wasted treating the wrong thing is criminal. I cannot say enough about the staff and Dr.Patel. Patricia and Michaela know me by name and truly care. They are great people. Dr. Patel is calm, assuring and so confident that he can help. He will explain anything you ask about so you understand. I truly didnt realize how much pain I was in until it was gone. It had been part of my life 24/7 for almost two years. I am incredibly grateful for the HEALING I received and I can do anything I want again. Walking, exercising, standing all day at work, and wearing normal shoes is all part of my daily life again. I can not begin to thank Doctor Brian Dahmer, Doctor Anish Patel and their staff for the knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant care. When I first found Doctor Brian Dahmer I was having numbness down my right arm and was in constant pain. I was at a point in my life where I believed what so many others had told me: "It is as good as it gets." I now have hope and am feeling better than I have in years. They created a treatment plan specifically for me. Explained my condition in a way I could understand and they take the time to answer all my questions whether it is about my condition or the treatments I will, or have, received. With the help of Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness my life has changed for the better. They are not just managing my pain but they are freeing me from it. Every time, with every visit, I am given a warm, pleasant welcome and in such a pleasant environment! I have always beleived that good health care begins with a feeling of ease and trust. Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness has given me that and so much more. Their office hours make it very easy for me to fit appointments into my schedule. I would recommend Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness to anyone. A matter of fact my daughter was in an accident and I did not even think twice before taking her straight to Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness to be treated. They saw her promptly and were caring and professional. I always feel like a person not just another number in line and I always leave there feeling better physically and personally. I am so grateful to be a patient of Family Chiropractic center in Hudson, and to have found doctors & medical staff that takes the time to listen to me and to discover whats been causing my pain. All of the staff are excellent, they are genuinely kind, knowledgable; and they know all of their patients by name and they take the time to get to know my family. The docs and staff actually educate patients on how chiropractic care can help alleviate or reduce a plethora of other medical ailments that the average everyday person would not necessarily attribute to happening with proper chiropractic care. After a thorough exam and testing Dr. Patel thoroughly explained my conditions and built me an individualized chiropractic treatment plan based on my specific chiropractic issues and medical needs. After consistently following his plan for several months, I DO feel improvements in not only the areas I initially came to him conplaining about, but also areas that I have never felt better in since starting this chiro treatment! Dr. Patel actually found abnormalities & injuries in these other areas that I never knew were wrong because my body learned to adapt to them. I thought that what I was feeling was normal until Dr Patel began treating the abnormalities/injuries and I FELT the differences in how my body feels during normal everyday activities. I was suffering from sciatica for about 8 months. A friend had a gift card for a massage and consultation at Family Chiropractic, so she gave it to me, hoping the massage would give me some relief. I have never been a massage or chiropractic kind of guy before, so I naturally held on to the gift card for another couple of months. When the pain was getting in the way of everyday functionality, I broke down and went for the consultation. I spoke at first with Patricia, an office assistant and a lovely person who seemed to have more passion for chiropractic care than the doctors, and her passion and my x rays motivated me to sign up for a six month session with Dr. Patel. No regrets!!! I went for three days for three weeks, and on my third week, when Patricia asked how my pain was, I said candidly, "Im glad I paid in advance, because if I hadnt I would have stopped coming by now." Now I did not say this because I was dissatisfied, I said it because I had no more pain. All in all, my experience has been astounding to me, from the exhilaration of actually getting better, to the very professional staff that immediately made me feel like family. It is no wonder that I am seeing the same faces in the waiting room each week. When my sessions are over, I think Ill stop in from time to time just to say hello and thanks. Oh yea, the massage was fantastic too. I am a changed man!!!

My name is Shawna Henthorne. I have been a friend of Family Chiropractic since my car accident several years ago, when I walked into their office at closing time on Labor Day weekend 3 hrs post accident. They treated me like I was a family member. The woman at the front desk calmed my fears by assuring me that they would do everything possible to take care of me. The doctor saw me THAT DAY!. He stayed late to treat me and I believe that single act of unselfishness kept me from having a much worse 4 day weekend and ultimately changing the quality of the rest of my life. Over the course of the next year, I was lovingly care for by Dr. Patel, Dr. Dahmer, and the rest of the staff and colleagues through various methods of treatment including adjustments, tens therapy, therapeutic massage and traction therapy. It was a long road to wellness, but I did arrive. I was subsequently able to participate in my first 5k event and go on to attend and graduate college. I feel that I would not have been able to accomplish these things had I gone the way of regular treatment. I know that I probably would have ended up on pain meds for the rest of my life instead of getting BETTER. :D So, thank you Family Chiropractic for treating me, my husband, my children and my beloved friends from church. Thanks for making a huge difference in the quality of our lives!
