Laura literally gave me my life back! After having extensive GYN surgery for fibroids and endometriosis, I developed an issue with my pelvic floor muscles (a swollen pubococcygeus muscle) that caused extreme pain when I tried to have sex with my husband. Not the best experience for a newlywed! Being unable to have sex with your own husband is extremely frustrating and embarrassing and scary. Laura worked with me for 2 months to get me back to my pre-surgical functioning. She was extremely dedicated, kind, and thorough and answered my 1000’s of questions unwaveringly. She was so patient with me and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. I never thought that I would need help with my pelvic floor at 31. I was so scared and honestly, depressed that I had this happening. Laura taught me that I was not alone and I wouldn’t be incapacitated forever. I will forever be thankful to Laura and her physical therapy exercises, biofeedback, and her multitude of kind words and encouragement. Words simply can’t express my gratitude (and my husband’s)! Laura is so wonderful and she has made such a difference in my life. I highly recommend SmartBody PT to anyone out there who is having pelvic floor issues. Don’t sit at home alone, scared, and embarrassed. There is help out there and you can get your life back!

After a number of surgeries I was placed with Smart Bodies to finish my knee rehab in Aug 2016. After a few visits I was informed that I might be still injured and to follow up with my Doctor. I was indeed injured and needed a 2nd knee surgery. I was impressed with the the quick response to the secondary injury and thank full they caught it in time. The surgeons did their part and Smart Bodies jumped into action getting me back on pace. The program was to gain strength , ROM, and stability.. Laura and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and have helped me when others couldnt diagnose me. I had stress fractures in both feet and went to many doctors without a diagnosis for two years. After one visit with Laura, she listened to my symptoms, and told me it sounded like I had stress fractures. She was right. It was a long 6-8 months of recovery with a podiatrist and then I went to see Laura for my PT. She has since seen me for a sprained ankle, back pain, and a tailbone injury.

The experience wasnt bad, but they ill informed me on what I would be paying. So they pretty much screwed me. Telling me my insurance covered everything. Then when I was finished with my physical therapy got stuck with a 200.00 bill. Thanks smart body!
