Dr. Matt Contino Stride Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation I had to take the time to locate a few sites where I can share comments about this man. In this day and age it’s rare to hear about, let along find a physician or therapist that has genuine concern and will take the time to accurately diagnose, personally customize your treatment, and then dedicate his time and attention to your recovery. I believe Dr. Contino takes personal pride in his work, loves a good challenge and settles for nothing less than the maximum possible recovery. I injured my hand severely and had spent 6 weeks between 2 rehabilitation facilities in Orlando where I did not feel a personal interest was taken to insure that I would regain full use. I was then referred to Stride Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation by a previous patient. Dr. Matt Contino (though he’ll insist you call him Matt) spent more time evaluating and testing every little movement then did the previous treatment facilities. He then began personalized treatment and was with me every step of the way, every visit. Extremely through and knowledgeable, measuring my progress each visit and determining the next rehabilitative step. My personal treatment was adjusted almost weekly on a very individual basis. I also must mention that he may have the most amazing laser treatment for relief of inflammation. I was skeptical but I can honestly tell you the results were undeniable after my 2nd treatment; seems it did in one week what had not happened in the previous 4 or more weeks, the swelling was remarkably improved allowing for better movement of my joints so I was able to tackle rehab head on. I must also mention that his staff is equally as focused and concerned. I am more that grateful for my 100% recovery and full use of my hand with no residual. I have taken the time to share my experience with you for that reason; I don’t believe that would have been the case had had I not had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Contino. I have been to see Matt several times. He is on time, professional, supportive, and knows what he is doing. He doesnt push too hard or make anything hurt. He doesnt make it seem like you need more help than you. For example, I had rotor cuff and bone surgery (arthroscopic) and he could have said I had to do a lot of work on range of motion, but he didnt. he was amazed I had full range of motion in my shoulder and little or no pain. For shoulder surgery that is amazing, not to mention I am 59, obese (fit and for now fat,b ut lost 80 lbs and kept if off for over 5 years), with diabetes. I exercised and did yoga up until the day before surgery and had a great surgeon. I wantted to go to fast and he has made sure I let my shoulder heal. His support team are excellent. Havent had to wait yet. Major issue at most healthcare suppliers. He is also helpful on cost. Debbie Deland Orlando, FL

I love this place! I came in with IT Band issues and being overly tight. I have been going for about 11 visits now and have made some huge improvements in both flexibility and joint comfort. I am into the running scene, having done plenty of 5k, 10k, some half marathons and my First (hopefully of many) Full marathon coming up in November. My joints, muscles and Stamina have improved in all aspects. Matt, is very personal and very motivating to work with. I definitely recommend Him and anyone at Stride for anything from accident rehabilitation to just routine maintenance.

Theres something truly extraordinary going on here... Dr. Contino and his team are brilliant "PT strategists" able to target and strengthen specific muscles and structure and get patients quickly on the path to recovery. Matt and his team are focused, talented and extremely congenial. The best part about a visit there is that its like hanging out with a group of your best friends...all looking after your success. I cant recommend Stride highly enough. Its work(!), but really a joy to go through a session there. Thanks!

Dr Contino and the ENTIRE staff is excellent! Most doctors are in and out quickly but Dr Contino and all the doctors on staff make sure to answer all my questions and make sure that I understand the treatment plans. GREAT PLACE!!!!!!
