During the past 4 years, Paul Visser of Vissers Physical Therapy has treated myself for repair of a torn rotator cuff, torn bicep, and a torn labrum for both my right and left arms. He also treated me for a frozen shoulder, which through therapy he was able to release my arm from being frozen. In addition, he has also treated my husband for two hip replacements and a total knee replacement this past spring. Thanks to Paul, my husband is now back on the golf course! Paul is committed to helping his patients in any way he can; establishing programs of exercise, machine routines, at-home exercises, and more. He is professional, focused, energetic, and compassionate. Paul’s abilities allow him to work with patients of all ages, and all ailments. He delivers above and beyond what you would expect and is determined to help you get back to your normal self. I can honestly say that without the help we received from Paul, neither my husband nor myself would be back to our norm. Vissers Physical Therapy is 5 star. We highly recommend this facility and would definitely go back. The location of the office is easy to get to, the office manager, Elise, is professional and caring, and the facility is spotless.

I concur with all the other reviewers. Rena Bissessar and really the whole team made a world of difference in my rehab and ultimately with my whole quality of life. After knee surgery and 7 weeks of PT elsewhere, my surgeon was not happy with my knee extension and was even afraid he might have to surgically remove scar tissue. He told me to go back to PT, but the place Id been going to said they could do no more to help me. Luckily, with the assistance of all the great reviews I saw about this facility, I found my way to VIssers, to Rena, Paul and Elise. Their kindness, skill, problem-solving, compassion and dedication helped me immeasurably, and my surgeon happily gave me the thumbs up as my function, extension, and walking has improved so much in just 6 weeks. Rena was phenomenal, and she worked with Paul to get my new knee working properly. Elise worked with my insurance company to request additional benefits and to be a very supportive person to me as well. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is NOT a PT assembly line, it is a professional and caring center where you get the skilled treatment you need to move on with your life. Vissers gave me hope again! I had a torn meniscus from playing basketball. Not only did they genuinely care about me as a person, but they went above and beyond to make sure I got back to full strength! They pushed me beyond what I thought I could do and got my life back to normal much quicker than I ever expected. They truly care more about the individuals then just making a quick buck, which was extremely refreshing from my past experiences with physical therapist! I have to pay out of pocket due to my insurance, and they were more than willing to work with me. I highly recommend them - You wont regret going!!! They have a great facility and more importantly, their entire staff are just wonderful people! THANK YOU VISSERS!!!!!! You guys are incredible!

I truly believe Rena changed my life. Four years ago I went in bent over in pain with sciatica caused by spinal stenosis and Rena worked her magic and I worked hard doing the prescribed exercises which I still do EVERY day and I am stronger than I ever was. Yes, once in a while I have some pain, but it goes away quickly. During the therapy, the subject of my bad knees came up. Bad knees run in my family and I had suffered a lot of pain in my knees--enough that a number of time my orthopedist gave me cortisone shots in my knees. Rena suggested exercises for my knees which I added to my regimen and now I basically no long have knee pain! I will always be grateful for Rena and the wonderful people at Vissers. They are the best!

I had undergone a shoulder surgery in January, recovery time was supposed to be 3 months. My previous therapist did not understand my condition fully and I ended up with a stiff shoulder, I couldn’t move much without any pain. Visser Physical Therapy was recommended to me, so I gave it a shot. The physiotherapists, with their truly caring character, and comprehensive experience in physiotherapy, helped me get back on track very quickly. Now, I am back to rock-climbing and swimming. A thousand thanks to the therapists for the great work! I highly recommend the physiotherapy services from Visser Physical Therapy.

The best physical therapy I have ever experienced. I have had two knee surgeries, ACL and Osteochondroma. My most recent visits were for ACL/Meniscus injuries. I would not be pain-free and walking without these magicians. The Vissers team (Paul, Rena and Elise) is extremely knowledgeable, professional and effective. I highly recommend choosing Vissers for rehabilitation no matter your age, even if your doctor sends you elsewhere! You will not find more expert and caring individuals. If you are an athlete, do not overlook this place!! A million thank yous, I cant express enough gratitude.

I cant say enough good things about the care Ive gotten from Vissers! Two years ago I had a hip replacement and now Im in therapy for both my elbows due to a fall. On both occasions, my therapist was Rena and she has been exceptional - getting me back to a level I thought was impossible!! The high level of personal care and attention given to each patient is outstanding. I wont hesitate to highly recommend Vissers to anyone.

Rena Bissessar was absolutely the best in helping me after my knee replacement surgery. She pushed me beyond my capacity and helped me to be on my feet within a week!! After hip resurfacing the team at Vissers Physical Therapy provided excellent Physical therapy so that I could resume normal activities. The whole team is fantastic.
