When a car slammed into my son and I last week I had not clue what to do. I called the Dr. that the emergency told me to call only to hear "we dont do car accidents". They gave me a phone number and said "call this number". I am so glad I did. The first person I spoke with is Ashley, the Director of New Patient Coordinating & Medical Records Department. IPM picked the perfect person to choose as their first contact person. She is so kind, caring, and respectful that she makes you comfortable with the whole process. The rest of the staff follows suit. I know that there is a negative post about Dr. Hix and I unequivocally want everyone to know that this is NOT the experience I have had. She took the time to make me feel comfortable, she was empathetic, and has never made me feel rushed or unimportant. This is going to be a long process, however I believe I am in good hands. So they came to my school and got me to sign up for 2 follow up visits for free by saying we have a physician on staff so itll only cost you your co-pay. This was exciting to me so I went. I saw the chiropractor and told her about my horrible experience at a previous chiropractor where they told me what I needed to do and wanted $2,000 to do it and there was no pay as you go. She said oh we dont do that here. Im so sorry that happened to you. I show up for a visit number 2 where they hand me a sheet saying its $1,800 and I can pay it all now and save money or do a payment plan the lowest of which was around $300 a month. I asked about the co-payment on my insurance and she looked at me like I was crazy. So you need to meet your deductible but according to my insurance I only need to meet the deductible for a specialist which by the way my deductible is $500 so where does the rest come in?

this place is the best , the people here genuinley care about each patient you are not a number on a file, multiple people there ask you while you are there how you are hows the family the take time to treat you like family and friends not just another patient . each persons care is individualized checked progress every few weeks to mold your care program , i have tranportation but those who dont they help get there by setting up ubber cabs to bring them , finacialy strapped they work out a plan that works for you so you can get treatment everyone matters here , from the time you walk in to the time you go its smiles and greetings and encouragement . even the injections i get are not a trial the nurse make me laugh so hard and smile its over before i know it i love these guys they realy care and it shows

My children and I were involved in a car accident with some severe injuries whiplash and 2 spinal injuries and concussion. after the trip to the hospital feeling hurt and confused, not knowing what to do to get further help so I called my doctor and he sent me to integrative physical medicine and there i found the most wounderful staff very friendly, caring and very seriously sensitive to our pain. there i found myself in the middle of the most positive atmosphere and I found hope of getting my children and myself better. we are still currently going to their and my son loves the girls and the hot coco

I will never be returning to Integrative Physical Medicine. The staff there was great except for Dr Hix every time I went in for an appointment she would either be not "in" the office or would refuse to speak to me. Ive never been treated so badly in my life by a person when I was spending thousands of dollars at their establishment (not all covered by insurance which she lied about too) . I would give them 5 stars but Im only giving 1 because of how Dr Hix treated me. Oh well off to find a new chiropractor.

Ive recently had to start therapy at the Mount Dora location. I didnt know what to expect, but once I realized how much all the staff and the Doctors really do care and have made a specialized treatment plan just for my injury, Im happy that I choose to come to this particular office. The girls know me by name and it makes me feel good that they show personal interest every time I have an appointment. The pain gets less and less each time I come. Give them a try, youll love it.

Ive been getting treatment in the mount dora office. The staff has been wonderful in helping with anything I need. Very caring and treat you like family. Treatments have turned my life around. Ive lived with neck and back pain and migraines for years and never thought I would feel good again. Ive went from a pain level of 8 to 9 down to a 2! Highly recommended!

Have been a patient for years, started in Orlando office but moved to Clermont so chose Mt. Dora. The staff is great, you can tell they care and do all they can to help you deal with chronic back and neck pain. Dr. Hix knows her stuff and makes sure to give tips to use at home.
