6 years ago I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute was the only proton hospital in the US that would agree to treat me. I received a phone call one evening from Judy Holland telling me they thought they could help me and asking me to come down to be evaluated. I thank God every day for that call from Judy. It is now 6 years since my treatment and there is no sign of the cancer. I am not retired and living in Pattaya, Thailand in very good health. Taking care of my health is my number one priority now. I am so thankful to all the staff in Jacksonville facility for all the kindness they showed me while I was a patient there. The two months that I spent there were some of the happiest times in my life. I can highly recommend this treatment center to anyone needing treatment for cancer. They are the best! We traveled from South Carolina for my daughters proton therapy and the UF PTI has been wonderful. They are very considerate and patient with my frustrations and are caring. They take the time to answer any questions and elleviate any concerns. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs proton therapy.
