A professional practice is only as good as the staff supporting it. From the moment I called to make my first appointment until I walked out the door after I picking up my newest set of glasses Dr. Loves staff has been nothing but friendly, efficient, and professional. Dr. Love is very competent, has taken the time to answer all of my questions, and has a way with my son that far exceeded my expectations based on his (my sons) reaction to other doctors. The staff in records and reception and the technicians and assistants that help with the exams keep things running smooth and efficiently and have kept my waits to a minimum. They listen, genuinely care, and helped make my son and me feel at ease in the office during each of our visits. There is, as always, one exception: in this case, Ms. Kimberly - in the frames and optics (I think thats what they call it) section. Theres service with a smile and then theres dedication to service that borders on spoiling a client. Want to try on 50 different frames to find the one thats best for your face, sense of style, and budget? No problem! Are you having any sort of trouble (fit, comfort, etc) with the glasses you already wear? Did you walk in with a smudge on your lens you cant quite get rid of on your own? Ms. Kimberly will fix that right up, even if it takes a couple of adjustments and some extra TLC. Ive never felt rushed and, while I accept that I am a demanding client and can often get on someones nerves, Ms. Kimberly has more patience than I have problems with my frames or lenses and a genuine smile that lets me know she enjoys what shes doing; not to mention an almost fastidious attention to detail that means she notices whats "wrong" even before I do. When Ive been there and shes had other clients at the same time Ive never felt like just another client and Ive watched her interact with and give them the same treatment. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Loves practice, support staff, and especially Ms. Kimberly. In fact, Im willing to bet that, especially if your visit includes a stop by the frames and optics section, youll walk out with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE!!! I am putting this out there. I am not related, dating or married to anyone there and I am not an employee in disguise. (I always wonder myself about that so I am stating that from the beginning, plus I am not lying ;) ) I had previously visited 3 other Eye Care Clinics and each experience was progressively worse than the one before. I was seriously considering just living without glasses until I was forced to try again. Coming out of the last bad experience headed back to work I knew this place was on the way, so I took a chance and popped in. Best decision I have made in a long time. Kimberly greeted me at the door and became my best friend for over 45 minutes. I cannot adequately explain how competent and proactive Kimberly was! She is friendly, funny and knows her stuff. She taught me about my insurance policy, she spent a great deal of time finding out what I wanted and worked on that WHILE working other options just in case we ran into an issue with frame availability or lens styles not matching my taste. She was an exceptional service provider. I felt she was on my team working to get me the best deal, AND SHE DID by a very large margin! Dr. Love came around and introduced himself and was a very friendly fellow. Everyone there seems use to getting compliments and they seemed to really enjoy their environment, I did. So to recap… Service out of this world; happy helpful people working to get you EXACTLY what you want and beat EVERY other place by a very large margin on price while providing substantially more value. If you are unhappy with other places around this area and you give them a shot… You will see what I mean.

No More Dry/ Tired Eyes, No More Night Glare/Bright Light Sensitivity I never write reviews. I’m 52 years old and this is my second. That is how impressed I am by Dr. Love. First issue: Dry/Tired/Burning eyes. This has been an issue for years, I spent countless dollars on OTC ‘solutions’, I saw many ‘experts, all for naught. I never knew if I was tired or if just my eyes where tired. I just knew I felt tired all the time. With Dr. Love’s few, simple suggestions I don’t feel tired anymore! I love to read, this issue was preventing my favorite hobby, my quality of life. I am able to read/watch TV/stay up later at night again. This has also increased the quality of my work and family life. Feeling tired makes me cranky, and the later the day got the crankier I got. Second Issue: Night Glare/Bright Light Sensitivity. This was getting so bad I dreaded driving at night. I have a 13-year-old son; thus, I am a full-time taxi service, the blindness I felt from oncoming headlights scared me to the point I feared for his welfare. Last night, taking him to practice, as the days get shorter, I did not even have to flip up my rear-view mirror into ‘night traffic mode’. I went to see Dr. Love about needing new glasses. I had accepted the fact that there was no ‘cure’ for these issues, it was just a fact of life, getting older and I needed to learn to live with it. Who knew I would leave solving two huge quality of life issues (along with better vision). He is the only Dr. I have ever visited who took the time to ask questions beyond just my vision. My only regret is that I waiting so long to take a doctor’s (my own niece!) advise and see Dr. Love sooner.

My wife and I were advised by a friend to visit Dr Love at Lake Mary Eye Care when we became dissatisfied with our previous doctor. I am 80 years old and was a pilot in the USAF where eye care is a requirement. None of our previous exams were as complete as the ones provided by Dr Love during our first visit. When the exams were complete Dr Love sat down and explained the results to each of us. He showed us the pictures of the inside of our eyes and explained in detail what was happening as we get older. In the case of my wife he stopped the exam when it was time to dilate her eyes and explained that she had a problem which required surgery. He said that had he put the drops in her eyes she may well have lost vision. He recommended the surgeon and when the procedure was complete he finished the exam. In all previous exams for both of us, the first thing done by a nurse or tech was to put in the drops. This could have been disastrous for my wife. The follow up visits have continued to be detailed to ensure our vision is as good as it can possibly be for our age. Dr Love and the people in his office are dedicated professionals ensuring that our vision is number one priority. We are very happy to have had Lake Mary Eye Care and Dr Love recommended to us and we could not be more satisfied.
