Started wearing glasses late in life, so could not adapt to contact lenses. Specs/Ripkin was not here when we first bought our first house, so we started out customers at a different place. When Specs came, I decided to try them, as they were local and much closer to home. OMG like they "customize" glasses to you! I mean help you to pick the right shape frames for your face, adjust the frame lenses , so they are not too high or wide to fit your eyes. We dont know how to do that, but they do. I look soooo much better in glasses today than in previous years, wish I had been going there the entire past 10 years! I wear sillouette, they are very thin frames, got them because they are light weight, no headaches. Hey, if I have to wear glasses now, I am going to look my best, and I do, thanks to Specs Eyecare! They not only know what they are doing, but also are very personable, ask for Michelle at Ripkin in Streetsboro or Diana at Specs in Hudson.

I do not recommend this location. There have been 3 different optometrists at this location since we started going there approx. 2 yrs. ago. The selection of eyeglasses is not impressive. We had an appt. scheduled for a month & they called the morning of our appt. cancelling due to the new optometrist not accepting our insurance. They could of called us weeks earlier to inform us! It was totally inconsiderate, unprofessional & I will never recommend this location. Poor business practice!

I walked into specs looking to buy a small amount of lens cleaner (my glasses were horribly smudged). When I walked in, I was met with a smile, an offer to clean my glasses, samples of cleaner and a case. I had never been a customer here, but the service was incredible and I plan on buying my glasses from Specs from now on. Her kindness made my day, great job!
