Dr. Douglas is the gold standard. Ive lived many places and had many primary care physicians and he has been hands down the best. Communication A+, Respect and Care A+, and ability to prescribe Reasonable and Effective Treatment A+. I never got the sense that he was rushing through my appointment, which has been my experience with nearly every other general practice physician. He took time to listen to my questions and concerns, even though they were minor. I look for a doctor who doesnt immediately turn to strong medications to solve problems, and Dr. Douglas fits that bill. He gave me non-medication options to try with my issue, but left the medication option on the table. Lastly, all the staff I had contact with at the Maitland office seemed to be content and generally low-stress, which says a lot about the work environment Dr. Douglas has created there. Im living in DC now and wishing I didnt have to find a new doctor!

I feel that Dr. Douglas cares more about is his paycheck and less about his patients. He has no empathy or understanding when it comes to real life situations. I was his first patient ever, 15 years ago and he will drop you even if you are 5 minutes late and wont care to hear your explanation EVEN IF ITS MEDICALLY RELATED. Thanks alot doc, shows you really care.

It cant remember waiting, even on those occasions when I call at the last moment and have to be "fit-in" to the schedule.
