I am completely heartbroken while writing this review. I took my small 7 lb yorkie to have his teeth cleaned to this facility the first of March 2016. They kept telling me he needed his teeth cleaned, and he would be okay, they do this all the time, routine procedure, nothing to worry about. I know I should have been brushing his teeth and having his teeth cleaned his whole life, but I didnt, so I am a bad mom. But my little boy was perfect when he went in for his teeth to be cleaned he was 10 yrs old, and still had the spunk of a puppy. They told me 5 teeth just fell out and they had to pull 5 teeth. Okay, they put him under, I dont know how long he was under, but it wasnt too long. All I know is when I picked him up, I did not have the same dog. He never came back to me, he went BLIND, he COULDNT BREATHE and panted hard for 24 hrs a day, his belly blew up like a basketball, he gained 2 1/2 pounds in 5 days. I was so freaked out, he wouldnt open his mouth, never did play with his toys, wouldnt /couldnt jump anymore, he loved to chase the shadows/light, he never did that again.. So people let me just cut to the chase here, you get the sad picture of my dear loving pet whom was my baby. My mother came to town and saw him for the first time after his teeth episode, and told me, girl, you have got to do something for your baby. So, Yes, I had to put him down the first of May 2016, because for two months I was being brainwashed by my regular vet being told he could live like this that he had COPD with collapsed trachea and for him to take some asthma medication ($60/mth). However, Florida Aid had seen him as well, and the only thing they did was refer me to a doggy eye doc. Really???? Florida Aid to Animals never took responsibility, of course I probably signed my rights away before his teeth cleaning too. They knew they OVER ANESTHESIAD him, I have read and read about this on the internet and I know this is what happened. But what can I do about it, nothing, he is gone, my heart is crushed and let me tell you, I have never cried so hard and loud in a public place other than a funeral home before. This little yorkie was special, as all our animals are, but he brought me through some dark times in the almost 11 years in my life. He will be missed for the rest of mine. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE PUTTING YOUR ANIMALS IN THEIR HANDS WITH ANESTHESIA. OBVIOUSLY, SOMEONE DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING OR MY BABY WOULD BE HERE CHASING THE LIGHT WITH ME. I feel so guilty, if I hadnt put him there to have his teeth cleaned, he would still be here. But he needed his teeth cleaned and I thought he would be safe like I was told. Now I have this to live with. I will NEVER go back to this facility. Sorry cant do it.

They have great prices, and nice, friendly staff. However, I wouldnt take my pet there for anything beyond basic shots and vaccines. One of my cats had rods and giardia. They only told me the cat had a digestion problem, gave me a prescription, and said the cat should be fine in a week. They didnt tell me that giardia was contagious and the staff KNEW I had two other cats. They also didnt tell me it is very difficult to get rid of and takes months of treatment to clear up. The treatment they prescribed wasnt even correct. I had to go to a local cat rescue organization for help and advice and they provided me with all the correct information and treatment, and all three of my kitties are better. Adopt from PAWS of Melbourne!

I applaud the vet and assistant who took care of my yorkie on his most recent visit for teeth cleaning, awesome price and awesome job. However, the office staff took it upon themselves to pocket my $50.00 cash deposit. So...anyone needing to make a deposit before making an appointment for surgery, make sure to use a credit card/debit card so you have a record of it. I was unfortunately scammed at my check out appointment and lied to. So be careful at this particular facility, they have someone working there that needs more than just their paycheck to get by. Shame on me for not making sure all of my receipts were in order before leaving the facility that day. This will never happen to me again. Ever.

I got my two Bengal kitties neutered and microchipped here. Florida Aid to Animals staff was amazing!!!! Even though the place was packed, they went out of their way to pet and play with my two little ones after surgery. The surgery was done with a laser and they literally did not act any different than when we went in!!! The cats were even fighting on the way home, I was impressed! An added bonus, they clipped their nails without me requesting it or having me pay for it! I highly recommend Florida Aid to Animals!!! Side note: I just moved here from DC, I wouldve paid $400 per cat for neutering, here it was $45. They saved me a lot of money! THANKS!!!!

I have taken my 2 older dogs and a older cat there when it was finaly time for them to go fur-heaven and it was a fast process and they were very caring. Today I had to take me my last cat in to go to fur-heaven and it was very traumatizing after over sedating her (which has not been done to any of my other pets) then they couldnt get the meds in her to put her down peacefully thy were poking every leg 20 minutes later and 3 people later told me that they would have to take her to the back and finish. I hope no body has to go thru that when it is already a hard enough time.

I came here looking for an alternative to my previous vet clinic, which was rude and expensive. I was blown away! The prices are rock bottom for many things, and the staff is usually so friendly. And even though they see hundreds of animals a day, it seems, they still manage to remember my dog. My previous vet wanted to spay my dog for over $300! They did it for no more than $80. As a college student, that was fantastic. I recommend them to absolutely everyone I know, and have never been disappointed by them.

I am a parent to 5 dogs. All of my babies go to Florida aid to animals. They are reasonably priced and very good with all of my dogs. I have 1 dog that is super scared of strangers and they take the time to put her at ease before doing anything to her. Thank you for all the patience and support you all give to each and every one of my 4 legged children. You guys are always my first choice.

took my dog in to have her teeth cleaned. Made appoitment one month out. Droped off dog . I received a call they could not clean my dogs teeth today. I think they over scheduled that day with spay and neuter dogs and cats and did not have time for my dog. I will not take my dog back. I made the appoitment one month out. Not happy...
