Bad Buggy

We absolutely adore Seaside Vet! Weve been taking our furry family members to them for over 15 years. First we took our dog and cat (Rex and Sassy, respectively) and they helped us through numerous checkups, ailments, and the eventual euthanasia process. Now, for the past 6 years, weve been taking our dog Bubbi and our new kitten (unnamed !) to them as well. They helped us successfully treat Bubbis heartworm when we first adopted her, diagnose and treat her allergies, check her over after she jumped out of our two story window (TWICE!), and now guiding us through her hip dysplasia and torn ACL. Dr. Kaseta has always fully informed of us all our treatment options and even helps modify them to the best of his ability around our immediate financial circumstances (whatever that may be at the time.) Throughout the years there have been times when we just could not afford some treatments and procedures for our furry family members and instead of being a heartless greedy shill, Dr. Kaseta always referred us to affordable facilities or provided us with affordable treatment options until we could take on a larger financial burden. Another reviewer mentioned that the staff was not personable- I have never found them to be off-putting or unapproachable! And besides, I wouldnt expect my veterinary staff to be "people-persons" anyways -- Id rather they were "dog/cat persons"! Again, we LOVE Dr. Kaseta and his team and we honestly wouldnt recommend taking your pets to anyone else.

Moved to SB in March 2014. Took my dogs for general exams and one had need for further medical services. Dr. Kaseta researched and called me that afternoon with the information so I could make a decision for my pet. A few months later I had to put one to sleep and he was very compassionate, caring and professional. We now have another dog, rescue, and he is providing medical services for his heartworm ( came to us heartworm positive). Again, Dr. Kaseta explained the whole process, time frames and medications to be used. I highly recommend Seaside to anyone who wants good care for their pets.

Be aware.... make sure to visit when James Kaseta D.V.M. is there. He is very knowledgeable. However, if Donald Cast is there, do not go there with any serious condition with your animal. Hate to use this term but the guy is clueless. My cat was having heart failure and he had no idea what to tell me. Very bad day and was a waste of time and money going to Seaside Vet. Stay away from Animal Specialty and Animal Hospital in Rockledge too! Seaside referred me here and they make promises that cannot be kept. But they will take your money too!! Be careful in Brevard!

It can be difficult to find a veterinary doctor who truly cares about animals, not the money. I found that in Dr. Kaseta and Dr. Page. Both are fully committed to their work and have a great attitude towards pets. They are both very understanding and knowledgable. Over the past 5 years of service, I have not one complaint about their office or staff. Thanks for taking care of Honeysuckle.

I cant say enough. My dog was only a patient for 2 months when she came down with an un-curable disease. Dr. Kaseta fully understood what I was going through, spoke with me over the phone after hours and scheduled an appointment on a closed day to assist us. He even waived the fees for some of the treatments as well as the cremation. I couldnt imagine going to another vet.

After having spent years trying to diagnose my cats vomiting problem with another area vet, Dr. Kaseta figured it out in one visit without any expensive tests. His diagnosis changed the quality of my daily life so much that I will be forever grateful! He spent lots of time educating me on the possibilities. I cant thank him enough!!

One of the worst customer service oriented front desks Ive come across. Poor telephone manners as if the customer is not important. I would suggest sending the front desk personnel to learn how to deal with customers. Even though its conveniently located I will be looking for another vet.
