BEWARE! This is not the place you want to have your optical needs serviced. We took two pairs of new eyeglass frames in for our prescriptions lens (this company serviced our eye exams and hold our prescription) and they TOTALLY DROPPED THE BALL. My wife cant even see with her new lens, but her old glasses which is the correct prescription she can still see from, and they didnt even put in my prescriptions, they put reading lens in.... They refuse to make it right and want us to PAY AGAIN for the new correct lens. THEIR MISTAKE! Be smart, go to a big box like "Sears Optical" or "Costco" which will stand up and give customer service and make everything right. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE USE THIS COMAPNY! As a Miami Beach resident we make every attempt to support our local businesses, but this place is a scam. BE SMART, BEWARE OF HOME OPTICAL on Miami Beach.

On the first day of my honeymoon in Miami this week I accidentally stepped on my glasses and broke the frames. Racquel (of a husband and wife team) replaced them immediately and inexpensively. Then she spent more than hour after closing time helping my wife and I each pick out perfect new frames from a wide selection of styles. The glasses were ready the next day because she has an on site lab. It would have taken two to three weeks anywhere else. The designer frames were on sale as well, saving us at least a hundred dollars each. It was really a spectacular display of customer service. She topped that off by sending us next door to a fine Brazilian restuarant for a great meal and some Brazilian mohitos.

I got my glasses today and I have to say Im very satisfied with them. I could see perfectly. In the past I have gone to other opticals, but the experience here was nice. I really like that they were patient and caring about my vision. What I really liked is that home optical helped me pick out a pair of glasses that fits best for my face. It was a one of a kind experience. I came with my family and we drove far from brickell cause of the excellent service. The best part is it worked well with the insurance and Im satisfied what I paid. Im very happy with my designer glasses. This was by far the WORSE experience Ive ever had with an eyeglass store! I chose this place for its proximity to my home and the Saturday hours. First they got my prescription wrong and tried to tell me to use the glasses for a week to allow for adjustment period. Really? I couldnt open my right eye because the lens was so far off from my actual prescription! They give me a loaner pair in the meantime. Second, they get my lens in so I go on Saturday since that was the best time for me, the tech was off! A month after the initial exam and I am still without my progressive lenes. NEVER AGAIN!!!

What can I say. I have been a customer of Home Optical for over 5 years. Raquel and all the staff have been there since day one. Not only are they true professionals (which is refreshing for Miami), but also friendly, personable and a pleasure to deal with. Home Optical has aquired a customer for life through their excellent, EXCELLENT customer service and their hard to beat prices to boot. Highly recommended and always a pleasure to deal with every time! They also speak mutliple languages which was a huge plus!

Great Service! I searched for a optical that will take my insurance and really walk me through the experience, being that it is the first time that I have vision problems and felt so disappointed of what I found. Im currently on vacation and my contacts tore right in half so I was in desperate need of a new pair. I looked for places near my hotel and Im beyond happy to say I found Home Optical. We were greatly welcomed and assisted with care. Not only was I able to get a pair of contacts but they were willing to match the usual price I pay for my contacts. I highly highly recommend coming to this place whether youre on vacation or not. The environment is amazing and assistance is wonderful.

They are the nicest staff around! I am not a local of Miami Beach and i drive 25 to 30 minutes every time because i trust them and they have never let me down. i WAS ON VACATION AND LOST MY CONTACT LENS. I CAME TO HOMEOPTICTA, AND OMAR AND THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT. THEY ASSISTED GETTING MY PRESCRIPTION FROM OUT OF STATE. I WAS IN AND OUT IN 10 MINUTES. THY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOMEOPTICAL TO EVERYONE.

This place is really good! I lost my glasses on a vacation and Raquel was kind enough to wait for me till 10PM in the night on a Saturday to give me my new glasses. She was very professional and made sure she gave me the best glasses she had! Would recommend anyone to this place.

Excellent service. The staff is incredible and make sure their customers are extremely satisfied. They even caught a previous error from another location and corrected a prescription. I now see perfectly! Not to mention the glasses were done quickly and right!
