Dr. Jara called CPS on me years ago for not taking my child to the ER. During a visit I made to discuss options for managing allergy symptoms she told me that my child needed to be admitted. I disagreed with her and told her that I would find another pediatrician and get a second opinion. This offended her i guess and she became rude. I left and when I got home the police were there waiting for me. To make this short CPS made me take my child to the ER and just as I said because I know my child the doctor at the hospital said my child was fine and did not need to be there. My children were only patients of this doctor maybe a few months and this happened. The doctor we have now weve been seeing for years and have had no problems at all. I also remember sitting in the waiting room for hours and the staff being rude. We had medicaid at the time... idk if that had anything to do with it.

I had a very unpleasant first visit with Dr. Jara, and I will never be going back. My son has hearing loss, and when one of the nurses started talking to my son while his hearing aids were off, the doctor just said "oh, he cant hear you anyways" Really? So what, just because my son cant hear he doesnt deserve to be communicated with, he is a very bright two year old and absolutely loves to be talked to because he can still read expressions and feel affection. It broke my heart to see a doctor have that kind of attitude towards my child. I left the office very confused to see so little care. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, all they care about is money. I felt rushed and like my son was just another patient in line.

Dr. Jara has been my daughters doctor for 11 years. She has been with us through 23 hospital visits and she has even been available when we are out of town. She is our biggest advocate. There is no way this office is all about money, she has a high number of patients on medicaid and feels strongly that all kids, even medicaid kids, deserve great care. That is amazing when a lot of times, your choices of doctors is not stellar on federal/state insurances. We recommend her to everyone . . . We just adore her and the staff!

I love this office everyone in there is so nice, they know my daughters name right when we walk in the door! We dont see Dr Jara often because she is out at the hospitals a lot but the other doctor IS AMAZING! my daughter feels very comfortable there and so do i.. I recommend this pediatrician office!

i wouldnt recomended this doctor to anybody, she lets the staff to take control of the office and do whatever they want she knows it and DO nothing about it. they dont care about patience is all about money...

My kids and I love Dr Jara and the staff. Always listens and is attentive to the happenings with children. Time in and out is efficient and always respectful.
