I am always hesitant to leave a negative review about anyone, but this time it is a must. I echo the sentiments of others who have said this man is uncaring, rude, unprofessional, terrible bedside manner, etc. I would add cruel, callous and arrogant. I left feeling like I was something hed like to wipe off his shoe. He was accusatory and judgmental in his tone about my weight and disability, and stopped just short of telling me that I would probably die on the operating table. Theres much more, and I am not the whining type, so trust me when I say that is was bad. I reported his treatment to my primary care physician and was advised not to follow ANY of his referrals and start from scratch with a new referral to a new surgeon. I am doing exactly that. Be advised, research before you go there.

Horrible horrible horrible surgeon This man wouldnt give me any type of insight on when recovery would be for my ruptured intestine. All he would say is that "Only God knows" and point to the ceiling. Ive endured a years worth of pain going through this man, and even when visiting his office, he was very rough and aggressive when ripping the bandages off the wound. I went to a different surgeon and he was able to perform a reversal and attempt to repair some of the mutilated work that Alkafaji performed on my stomach. DO NOT RECOMMEND

My mother and I found this doctor to be very arrogant, rude and totally incompetent. He performed a surgical procedure on my father several years agao and he caused my father to pass two days later. My step father would still be alive today if it wasnt for this doctors negligence. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone! He was uncaring, rude, and a terrible representative of the Medical community. Having worked in the hospital for 10 years, I have the authority to say, STAY AWAY from this surgeon if you value your life!!!!!!!
