Doctor and receptionist were great. Other staff could use more training to say the least. There was a near miss where I almost got injected with another patients medication by a nurse! Place also seems understaffed. I did go at 6pm Saturday, wait was 50min which isnt terrible likely for that time. However without anyone evaluating me and myself only writing down the reason for visit as migraine and nausea, the staff member said, "the Westerville ER can further evaluate me". I (after stopping myself from laughing out loud) said my mild symptoms seem appropriate to stay here ("just a migraine"?!?)but if the MD refers me there after evaluating me than I can do that. I think staff just wanted to thin out the waiting room as a second person was asked right before me. I understand it is Saturday night but you know your hours prior to taking this job. A Nurse (A female, blonde, didnt catch her name) mixed up patients and came into my room with a needle of epinephrine injection asking what leg id like it in. My main nurse (African American female, who was good) in my room stopped her fortunately before a critical error made. If she wasnt in my room that could have been a very awkward situation for me and the clinic. They need to confirm identification when entering the room every time. Doctor gave meds for my diagnosis of migraine and I recovered very quickly! But since limited urgent care hours after noon on weekends this place may be only place open near this area.

This place is horrible. I have been diagnosed incorrectly twice now. The first time I had pain in my rear end, the "doctor" said it was hemmeroids, a week later a different "doctor" confirmed it was an absess which I had to have emergency surgery on. Two weeks ago I came in for a sore throat, the "nurse" who also forgot to hook up the cord when taking my pressure (she said "why didnt you tell me??", she gave me a swab, the "doctor" gave me steroids because they said the culture was negative for strep throat. A week later, I still had a sore throat, went back, I said, are you sure I dont have strip throat, can you give me an antibiotic? They said no it wont help, it is a viral infection not bacterial. Another week later I went to a real doctor, confirmed it was strep, gave me an antibiotic and three days later it was gone. Do not go to this place, I should get a refund for the co-pays i had to pay for their incompentance.

The nurses here have a very bad attitude and are very stuck up. While I was in the waiting room a lady brough a son in who hit his head and they wouldnt treat him, they direct the mother to a hospital and said he looked fine, then when she left they made jokes about how she comes in 3 days a week for attention for various injuries and named them off...HIPPA lawsuit? The nurses were rude my entire visit, but the most memorable moment was my first visit and I wasnt able to find the exit i was in alot of pain and not thinking clearly. On my way out the nurses wouldnt even help me and when I asked the lady looked at me like I was retarded and pointed ... I wasnt worth her time enough for her to simple open her mouth and give me direction..Terrible Urgent care I will never go here again.even if it is in my neighborhood...

I went here to get checked out after a car accident. I got an x-ray and physical exam which was adequate. After my insurance paid the contracted amount for services (not quite ER rates but close) there was an amount of $84.82 left over. NextCare (OhioHealth) sent me a bill and within 3 weeks of issuing the bill they sent it to collection! It wasnt even past due and ironically was already paid when I got the call from Nemos Investigations and Collections (NIC) in AZ. This is a despicable and aggressive move and possibly even a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If you can possibly get treatment elsewhere, do it. This place will only add to your troubles.

I vow to NEVER go back to this Urgent Care - and this used to be my #1 choice if necessary. The past 2 times that I have been to this place, I have been told that I had some type of outlandish illness and was sent directly to the hospital. Needless to say I did not have anything further that I was initially told, so after being panicked and terrified, not only did I have to deal with the emotional stress but the financial burden of paying my Urgent Care copay on top of the additional Emergency Room copay. To save you money, stress, and emotional trauma, do NOT go here!!!

Web site says you can get a physical exam but you cant ( at this location ). Incredible waste of time. Makes me wonder what else they dont or cant do that they advertise as being able to. Really, a general physical. Not a cdl exam or bio metric exam. Not sure if anyone should even trust them with any problems if they cant even do something as basic as a physical. Seems training and expertise geared towards advertising much more than actual service. Best of luck if you still choose to gamble your health here.

The staff was very unprofessional! They talked at the front desk about how they didnt get to eat! They should have known in that profession they would have days like that, right? Talked about the patients using first and last out loud, what about hippa? And was very rude, shouldnt they care about NOT making the people who are ill from feel worse? Called BEFORE going and aksed if they accepted our insurance, and told yes, get there and was told had to pay out of pocket and get it back ourselves.

Nurse there had an attitude, very unfriendly. Scolded me for using the restroom, despite that being part of the issue. Didnt call me about lab results but when I called from their letter, Brittany (another nurse?) wouldnt allow me to speak, when I tried she said the doctor would call me back. Because, "she just couldnt". Yes,I raised my voice, you refused to listen or allow me to speak. I hope she never had to handle an emergency situation in her chosen profession.

I work for Ohio Health, live in New Albany and came to the urgent care in New Albany, I have been waiting for over 1 hr and half and all they can communicate to me is that the MD does not multitask. Why keep him on the payroll. Needless to say, that is why my family practice and hospital of choice is OSU. Staff is unprofessional, and apparently thinks they do a favor by working here. Go get another job if you dont like this one! Terrible service and patient care !

I showed up without an appointment, filled out paperwork, was seen by a nurse, a doctor, a senior doctor, and got prescriptions - all in under an hour. This is a very nice, clean environment with friendly and helpful staff. Everyone treated me with respect and my entire experience was not just good, but surprisingly good. The building was a little hard to locate as you have to turn into a housing development before the sign for Urgent Care is visible.
