In the early spring of 2010 at age 59 I suffered a pretty bad stroke which like numerous others victims, affected my speech and left me with many other neurological problems which would take me over a year of therapy and allot of hard work to overcome. Just after thinking I was out of the woods I suffered a second stroke in the summer of 2011 which was worse than the other one and was in the hospital and a rehabilitation center for over a month where I worked vigorously to regain things such as my ability to stand and walk or even remember what I liked to eat or what food even tasted like after 60 years. Dr. Rekha Bhoomi was the doctor on duty that day and her determination to define the actual cause of these strokes along with her husband Dr. Udayabhasker Gangapuram Reddy was remarkable. In their professional opinion and hearts knew that unless the cause was determined and corrected I most likely wouldnt survive a third stroke. I honestly feel that Dr. Bhoomi saved my life!
