The first of the yr she was too busy. Then I could have an appt in april.. ok I did it. ON my way to my drs appt I received the call I was being cancelled. The office was sick. My new appointment was at 12:40 but I thought it was ten till 2 so they call to say that I late.d it. I said can you please see if she can come in 5 min.s she said do you have all your papers.filled out.she said no I could come in AUGUST. OK LETS BE REAL.THEY GET SICK CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT THEN I ASK CAN THEY GIVEE ME FIE .SO SHE SHOULD ME SHE WOULD ME SHE WOULD HAVE EN A VAD DR FIR ME SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE DOENTCAEE.SO TO YOU JODI NICHOLS YOU SUCK

Made an appointment in Feburary which would have me waiting over 3 months as a new patient...June 3. Stopped by to get my papers and make sure I had the right time for appointment. Told they had never heard of me and I must have made it with someone else. I asked, How would I know to come her to get the papers? She said I would have to make another appointment...Me - Will I have to wait another 3.5 months? She..Probably. Wonder if my age had something to do with it. Not seeing her until she calls me and apologizes as my time also has worth.

Not good! Dr Nickel is ok. 4 out of 10 stars. The problem that I have with the office is the receptionist openly discussing patients conditions and laughing and making jokes about me and other patients who were there on site waiting in the rooms to be seen. Not professional at all. I did switch primary care because of that and Dr Nickel is difficult to work with if you have special needs.

She listens. Thats important to me. If she tells you to go have blood work and you dont expect a call. If she told you to have a test and you dont expect a call. If she refers you to another doctor and you dont make the appointment expect a call. Its not that she is bossy but you have to understand that your life is important to her and her staff.

Im not sure what other reviews are talking about. Dr Nickel is probably the best primary care doctor Ive ever had. She listens to everything and I never feel like she is in a rush.
