Thank you for opening my eyes to a business I NEVER, EVER, want to do business with again. And believe me, if anyone asks, I will share with them my experience. It may seem crude to characterize it in this manner, but these people have balls! We noticed that our female calico wasnt using her right rear leg. She didnt seem in any obvious pain that we could see. Cuddling in our lap, purring, playing with the other cats in the house, falling asleep in our arms. But because she wasnt using her leg, we thought it better to get it checked out, just to make sure it wasnt broken. The initial exam by the "vet" indicated that there was probably not anything broken, and asked if I wanted to have x-rays taken, just in case. I agreed, knowing it wouldnt be cheap, but not ever thinking it would be too expensive. $243.35???? Really??? Just for 2 x-rays???? Wound cleaning, $56.85????, Meds, $106.64??? I could not believe the bill when the vet technician showed it to me in the examining room when everything was done. Just a shade under $500.00!!!!! I was floored. We racked up a $470 bill in less that 30 minutes! Yes, I am fully aware that I should have asked, and not presumed that the costs would be reasonable. I wasnt given any kind of written estimate before they started their treatment, nor any warning or notice that I would be approaching the $500 dollar mark in charges, even for something that wasnt broken. Alas, I didnt check, and I have myself to blame for not asking. The damage had already been done. I knew I had to pay. But to say I was shocked, is an understatement. I will never visit this hospital again, for any reason. If I had been given some kind of notice that our short visit would be costing me over $460, I would have explored other options. Live and learn. I called to ask who I could address any compliment or complaint to, and the person answering the phone stated only that "we are a corporation, and owned my someone in California, and that there was no way to contact the owners". It just seems that for a first time customer, I would have received some kind of notice that our first time visit could, or would, be that expensive.

This place is amazing! My husband just came home from work...7am..Sunday morning, and tells me he found a cat on the side of the road near us. It was really really broken..but he Didnt have a box or anything. So we grab my laundry basket and towels out of the bathroom and run. Anyway. I now have this broken kitty in a basket and Im calling vet upon vet upon vet. Either they Arent open..or they refuse to see me unless i pay the office visit, the exam fee, the euthanasia fee..and the disposal fee. Ill add that i just paid all my bills last night. Im broke. Im panicking. I cant stand to sit here and watch this baby suffering. So the last place i call (this place) says her Dr isnt in yet. But she will be in an hour and she will ask and call me back. Which she did. They had me bring Mr.Kitty in. He wasnt going to survive. The best thing for him was to go to sleep. I know this ...so after the sad. They hand me my stuff back..I was thanking them and telling them how much i appreciate them and how great they are and on. And they actually thanked ME..Thanked me for bringing in this broken kitty. It wasnt about the money..me putting them out with this freebie office visit. It was about A poor animal suffering. They helped me today more than I can put into words. Of all the other vet places out there this was the one that cared enough about the animal to look past the money (and was open on a Sunday). Im not saying to run here expecting hand outs. Im saying this place is amazing. The people are amazing and they actually care about your animals. I dont know what i would have done today if they hadnt said Ok bring it in. They were my last call. They won me over. When ever Im in need of veterinary care Im going here and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone. And to finish off the review ill add the office is cute..and clean..and cozy..and theres A Cat Room! Cute little fluff balls head butting you through the glass! So if you have an opening for kitty loving in your life you should go here! Thank you Thank you Thank you VCA ~ A

I get disgusted when people say that Veterinarians are just in it for the money. How are they supposed to stay in business if every person that walks through their doors with an injured animal gets free care?! Its your animal people!! Pay for it! I swear it frustrates me when I read blatantly one-sided negative reviews. Dont switch your blame onto those people who dedicated their lives to helping pets because YOU are not responsible enough and feel guilty inside that you cant afford care for your pet. Veterinarians and their team are there as a service to care for your pet in ANY situation and you need to be thankful that this clinic is open 7 days a week when few are! Owning an animal is a luxury, not a necessity. Dr. Greene and Dr. Wendt only offer high quality medicine and If you cant afford the entire treatment plan then talk to them personally and be honest and they will work with you to prioritize treatment to fit your budget. Be up front with your means and its common sense you may decline services - however, you cannot compare this clinic to Humane Society pricing with its government money so dont assume prices. Also dont expect free services and then come on social media and blast clinics and doctors in the most cowardly way possible. If you have a problem, take it up with the hospital manager instead of just ranting on Google. You rant online because you know you feel guilty inside for not being able to take care of your best friend and that feeling of guilt transforms to rage and it is much easier to push blame on someone else to make yourself feel better online without consequences. It can be a two way conversation with the clinic instead of a one-sided rant online that doesnt solve anything. I personally trust they know whats best for my pet and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

We have been taking our two big dogs to Lil animal hospital for many years. We seen so many not so good changes since VCA took over. Higher prices for veterinarian care for two big dogs. To many changes with the staff and management. And veterinarians. No more kitty shelter. They kept telling me that the shelter is full when its not. And coming to find out through the person at the front desk told me that they are no longer doing the kitty shelter and that they do not see it coming back. Now, we have been checking all animals hospitals within our area. To find the best possible affordable care that we can get. Were planning on saying good bye to this once animal hospital which it was the most best place to bring your dog and cat to. We are no longer happy with this hospital. To no thanks to VCA for destroying this once most wonderful place and feel so comfortable and most trustworthy place for all animals to go to. Very sad to see what a huge corporation have done to this once excellent hospital all because of their greed for huge profits to benefit them self and not for the animals and the care takers. Very very sad!!!
