It was pretty disappointing when the nurse practioner (Bumach,ARNP) recommeded Flonase OTC. I asked the nurse to ask permission from the nurse practitioner to write me a prescription for insurance purposes but he refused. I am very well aware that it is now available over the counter (that is his reason for not writing the rx) but I know for a fact that my insurance will pay for it if I have a prescription. The point is to save money because being sick, getting medications and seeing a specialist cost money. I have seen doctors in the past who are very compassionate with their patients,they would actually recommend places where you can get free antibiotics or provide you alternatives to save money so I really dont see why this nurse practitioner would deny such HARMLESS request. What is the use of paying my insurance if I dont use it? In fact, I rarely get sick but I am required by law to get insurance. Health care cost has dramatically increased but I am not sure if I can say the same with the quality of health care these days. I give three stars for Dr.Cunningham. He was the first doctor that I saw in this location and I had a pleasant experience with him. He was very professional and I believe he treats his patients with compassion. I highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr Sadler for about 10 years and I have never had a bad experience there. From the moment you enter the office and are greeted by the girls at the reception desk to the final checkout, you are treated as a family member. The girls working in the rooms and behind the scenes are just as caring as they tend to all of your needs and concerns. They notify you in a reasonable amount of time when they notice any test results that require further communication. I think of Dr Sadler as a relative as she has probably saved the use of my leg several times by getting me rushed into surgery when she couldnt hear a healthy blood flow. I realize some of these reviews have not been positive as patients are usually under duress but they should know that everyone in that office cares about your well being. Im sure they can look back at their visit now and see that as they are one of the most professional businesses Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. Even when they are filled with ailing patients needing care.

I have been to Family Care Specialists as a regular patient and as a walk-in to see Leah Sadler, and I have been more than satisfied with my service. Ms. Sadler has been very prompt, not having to wait on her for more than 10 minutes. She listens carefully and asks questions based upon what I have told her. She recommends appropriate testing and then follows up with a call to me personally, made by her, not someone in the office, to let me know the findings. The office staff has been courteous and helpful both signing in and leaving the office. For the times I have used Family Care Specialists for walk-in service without an appointment, I have received quick service, not having to wait more than 20 minutes. I am greatly pleased with their service and would (and have) recommended it to others.

I wish I could give "0" stars here. My family has never had an acceptable experience at this location. They wont even treat you for a UTI (even when the urinalysis shows infection) because the doctor believes that "men do not get bladder infections." I am not kidding, he actually looked my husband in the face and said that. He was very insistent on referring him to one of the Ocala Health System hospitals instead; as it couldnt possibly be something as simple as an infection (even though my husbands had them before). Save your money. Go to CareSpot, or try and wait it out to get in with a real doctor.

Waited over well over 2 hours just to be seen. It took another hour and a half after the doctor initially saw me before I was on my way. This is after being harassed about my insurance, long story short my insurance company had to call them to verify even though I had a valid insurance card present. With this wait time and random inconvenience you might as well go directly to Express care, the ER or wait and see a real doctor

The doctors and medical staff are top notch. However, to get to them you must go through two very unprofessional receptionists. These ladies think they are the deciding factor in medical issues and that is just scary. Unfortunately, the office manager could care less if you receive decent care or service. Always a more negative and challenging experience than it has to be, or should be.

My husband and I have used this practice for 5 years since moving from Tampa to Ocala. We easily make appointments with our practitioner. We are quickly greeted by the staff. At times we had to use Urgent Care and found this to be a great service. Our family is extremely lucky to have found such caring folks. We thank you so very much.

I have been going to Anne Sadler with Family Care Specialists for a long time and have always been very pleased with the care and service I receive. Anne is knowledgeable, patient and professional. I have also taken my two teenage children to see her and she is wonderful with them as well. The staff is always great too!

The staff was great. The check in people, check out people, and the staff in-between were all friendly and efficient. Dr. Cunningham was also friendly. He spent the necessary time with me, explained his findings, prescribed medication and I was on my way! I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone!

I went there on February 22 and I was refused treatment. The clock behind the receptionist said 4:45 but I was told that I could not see a doctor because they were closing at 5:00. In the past I have received excellent treatment but my most recent experience there was terrible.

Ive never had a bad experience here. From reception to the doctors, everyone is pleasant & compassionate. I love that they are directly connected to my families general practitioner & that our co-co-pay is not astronomical.

I found Dr Cunningham very easy to talk to. This clinic is a lot faster than going to the emergency room. The next time that I have a problem and cant get into my doctor I will be going to this urgent clinic for sure.

Leah Sadler has seen me 4 or 5 times in the last year. When there was a special event she would call in the evening or the next day to see if I was okay. She goes the next mile for her patents
