Regarding the complaints of the previous review, I have never had an unsatisfactory experience. This is one of the best run medical practice offices I have been to. I had been a patient of other doctors in this office 6 or 7 years. Medical Insurance pays only for a 15 minute visit which I believe forces doctors to provide what I call BandAid medicine. I became an MDVIP patient about a year ago, which allows Dr. Kivett to spend much more time with a patient. Within 3 visits Dr. Kivett almost completely relieved one condition that had been treated by other doctors for at least 5 years. Another 5 or 6 Year problem (back Pain), he diagnosed quickly in the office (no specialists) and his explanation to me made perfect sense. Previous doctors had sent me to several specialists, and never explained the results. In frustration, I attempted to find the answer myself and concluded that it was caused by one of my Rxs. For several years I refused to continue taking it. Dr. Kivetts diagnosis and his explanation easily convinced me I was wrong. I resumed taking the Rx. I am a satisfied patient.

I received a flu shot with the older tech(older woman) which didnt follow proper protocol. I dont like to give bad reviews but I want to bring this to attention so no one in the future could get an infection due to this. She used a cotton ball with alcohol and wiped the vaccine bottle and laid it on the counter. Then injected the vaccine in my shoulder with about 2 or 3 cm of air still in the needle without sanitizing my arm first. Then she used the old cotton ball laying on the counter and wipe my arm afterward and didnt apply a bandaid or any covering.

Worst place ever! First appt. made by phone only to get there and there is no record of it. Now today I had another appt. (rescheduled) still no record of it! Now isnt it a good thing I called first before exerting my time and energy to go clear across time. Lets just say, Im looking for a new physician!
