My complaint is more with the nature of how the billing is handled than with the Doctor herself. We were quoted an amount upon first visit and when we returned to have the work completed the amount changed. Any other dentist I have visited has worked with our insurance company for a "pre-determination". This way there are no surprises. I do understand that I shouldnt have assumed they did their job on the first visit when I received their quote, but when I returned over a week later to have the work preformed I should have been given a new amount prior to having it completed. Upon checking out my new amount I was caught by surprised. The clerk then stated that my first visit was only an estimate and that a true amount usually takes 6-8 weeks to receive. I contacted my insurance company and confirmed that an accurate amount would have taken less than 6-8 days which was more than enough time prior to having the actual work done. It is truly a sad day when you have to anticipate a Dentist office doing the ole "bait and switch". After several calls and visits trying to get the situation rectified, we are no further along. Should you visit this dentist I strongly suggest you get the most accurate quote in writing prior to having any work done. As for my friends and family, I will assure they dont fall victim to these very poor business practices!

Dr. Moncrieffe and her staff have NO communication. I was told something different every visit. I then started a root canal and was told the cap could not be put on until my wisdom teeth were removed for another considerable amount of money. I was not informed before the procedure that this was a necessity, and it was not listed as a part of my treatment plan. I also needed an extraction, I was provided with a referral to another facility for the extraction. I was seen by that dentist and then informed that he does not do extractions, he only does root canals. Very unacceptable and un knowledgeable staff. I would NOT recommend this dentist. Please do not waste your time.

If I could leave less I would. I had 7 fillings done, and they screwed up my mouth. Its been about 5 months. Ive gone back twice to have them fix it. They claim my teeth are sensitive, yet my bite is so unaligned I cant bite correctly. And my teeth are so sensitive to air, heat, and cold, which was never this bad until she touched my teeth. They work on you before youre numb. And the receptionist theresa is the nastiest, rudest person. Who hangs up on you. My mouth is now all infected and I cant close my mouth. Havent been able to eat in over 12 hours. And they dont squeeze people in. I was told I had to wait all day. Worst dentist in the world.

Terrible service and adds on work that is not in treatment plan. I also had a cavity filled and at the next visit I was told I needed this tooth filled again, because it has 2 cavities. Needless to say I am very skeptical of Dr. Moncrieffe. I was told as well that I need four cleanings per year to prevent gum disease (two cleanings are covered per year by insurance). I received a second opinion with another dentist who recommends two cleanings per year, which is acceptable. Not pleased at all with this office nor the staff.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Moncrieffe and the staff. They took great care of me and I have referred my husband, daughter and another family member to them. I have a six year old daughter and they were awesome with her on her first ever visit to the dentist. My husband had to have a filling and they did an excellent job and he has had no complaints. We like them so much that we actually make it to our 6 month appointments!

zero stars... Horrible service and terrible work done. Had to get all work re-done with another dentist. No refunds or discount were offered. Terrible people skills. The receptionist was awesome at selling this dentist to me. The dentist is not thorough at what she said she would do with the visits. She is inconsistent and unreliable. Fail
