Please, before you consider seeking care from this establishment, be warned... I was scanned during a cleaning, then returned for my second appointment for a cavity fill and a root canal set up. The doctor known as Dr. A. (Young female dentist) issued dose after dose of Novacane. After knumbing my whole face she said this to me.. "Well, I hate to burst your bubble but this is kind of a good burst, there is nothing wrong, You dont need any dental work." She falsely diagnosed me. She knumbed me to an extreme measure for absolutely no reason. This is pure neglegence. This clearly new to the field dentist did not even apologize. This was a revolting experience. I fully inted to share with the BBB to prevent others from suffering here.

Portage Dental said my insurance would pay for a crown procedure after I payed my co payment. When I was about to get the crown procedure done, they stated that my insurance would pay for X amount. Months passed and I got billed for X amount. I called Portage Dental and they said they didnt know why the insurance wouldnt pay the bill. I called my insurance company, they said they faxed Portage Dental the policy coverage and verbally confirmed the insurance policy as well. Portage Dental is holding me liable for the bill after they misinformed me about my coverage. My insurance policy was faxed and verbally communicated with Portage Dental and they scammed me.

This was my first dental visit in over 20 years. I used to not take care of my teeth, but Im trying to turn things around now that I have Medicaid. I was afraid Id be treated poorly or with contempt because my teeth are, of course, not in great condition. My fears were unnecessary because I was treated very, very well by PDC staff. They made sure I wasnt uncomfortable or in pain during X-rays, exam, and cleaning, and the work went fast. I was also shocked--thats the right word--at how much better my teeth look. Everyone from the desk to the dentist was great, and I can say I highly recommend this dentistry office.

What a joke. Had I read these reviews I wouldnt have went here! What an awful experience! I went to get a tooth pulled and the lady cracked my tooth in half and then actually said "well I cant get it out so now youre going to have to be referred to an oral surgeon" 6 month wait!!!!! So here I am in SO much pain and way worse than before she completely screwed up my tooth. What did she tell me ? Take ibuprofen for the pain in the meantime. Oh honey this is more than ibuprofen! What a joke! I cant believe that lady was a dentist. DONT GO HERE!!!

After the Trauma of hearing on 20/20 what Small Smiles was doing to children we pulled our girls out. Then we took them to Dental express and they would not let us in the room when they were being treated so we left there also. We were already satisfied with our care at Portage Dental so we decided to bring our children there also and they let us be there with them every step of the way and even scheduled them at the same time and but them side by side so we could be there for both through the partitioned wall.

I would never go back to this dental center. They numbed everything but 1 tooth when I was have a full mouth extraction so I had to go back again to get the 1 tooth removed and then my dentures did not fit right and they were very cheaply made I still can not wear my dentures be cause they have spikes were they touch my gums. DO NOT GO THERE RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Claimed that they verified with my insurance company that procedure was paid by them. Well after the work was done I recieved a $600.00 bill from them. I called the dentist office and was told by the staff that they hardly ever check for coverage. I would not have had the procedure done if I knew the truth. They lye!!!

Im sorry but when you rip out a molar with horrible roots and need stitches that calls for more than Ibu.....Ill never ever go back to them again....oh and if I hadnt caught my tooth with my tongue it would be in my stomach

Worst dental experience EVER!!! One dentist numbed the wrong side of my face so I had to come back! I figured it happens but after going back and them dropping something in my throat then LAUGHING. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing staff. Got me in within 2 hours and what I feared was going to be a two hour root canal turned into a very professional 20 minute filling. This is One of the best dentist offices Ive been too.

Amazing work. I had a horrible experience at Aspen dental having a new denture made. I went to portage dental center and they were amazing! It fits perfect. Ive never been happier with a denture.

Parking is terrible absolutely horrible 1 or 2 good dentist the rest are ruff and bad staff. Is ok at best
