My son is 18 Months and I was referred to Tree House when I was still pregnant. We have been seeing Dr. Neilson since the start and we love her! I had A LOT of problems breastfeeding and I found Dr. Neilson to be supportive and encouraging. There were days that we disagreed because my son had an under 5% weight on the charts, but we both kept exploring and looking for ways that we both agreed upon as the best solution and Im happy to say that I nursed exclusively for 15 months! My son has had a lot of health issues and Dr. Neilson has been helpful and always takes time to answer questions for me. That is why there is a long wait at the office, because the doctors here actually talk to their patients. Im okay with the wait because I know that once I am able to see the Dr. that all my concerns will be addressed. As for the late charge ... I have been consistently late for appointments and have called ahead when its happened. Ive never been charged a late fee. This may be a new policy but it has yet to affect me. However, I dont disagree with the policy. No doctors office is going to be perfect, but I have found this office to be very helpful, smart, willing to research all matters (even if its breastfeeding versus formula) and has even been open to delaying vaccinations when Ive felt we should hold off because of my sons low weight. I do not work for Tree House and I dont have a personal relationship with anyone on staff. Im just a mom, who knows a good doctor when I see one, and am disappointed that the reviews on here do not reflect the great quality care that my son has received with Tree House!

Treehouse Pediatrics has the best Pediatricians weve ever worked with (and weve lived in three different states since our children were born). Dr. Nielsen is excellent - she has been fully engaged in our kids health and development since we moved here three years ago. Our son was diagnosed with Autism a year ago - early on Dr. Nielsen listened to my concerns about his development, didnt dismiss them, and helped me set up testing with Early Steps when he was only 1 1/2. Early Intervention is changing the course of his future, and I really have Dr. Nieslen to thank for listening, validating and directing us where to go. She has cheered him on the whole way, been a source of encouragement when we were discouraged, and given hope when weve had little. She has been a great doctor and a good friend to us through the whole process. If we call in the morning we always get in that day if needed. Feel welcomed and known by the nurses and staff there - we love this office. Weve also seen Dr. Rogers when Dr. Nielsen was out, and highly recommend her as well. Definitely recommend.

We like Treehouse Pediatrics very much. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but thats true anywhere. We have been using them for several years. I just cant imagine they would be against breastfeeding. Seems completely out of character for them. My youngest is 4 and I cant remember that far back, but Ive had several long conversations with Dr. Nielson and cant imagine she doesnt support breastfeeding. That review has to be made up for vindictive purposes. No Dr. would say breast milk is just "sugar water"! (fruit juice, maybe...) I would recommend Treehouse and do when I am asked. And I cant speak for the other Drs., but Dr. Nielson has never struck me as "money-minded." She has consistently been flexible and caring. Perhaps the front office staff is tasked with watching the office budget? EDIT 10/5/11 - Had an appt. for my daughter yesterday. Asked about the breast-feeding. Dr. N is very much for it. As usual, Dr. N spent plenty of time with us, even answering my curiosity-based medical questions that were unrelated to my daughters illness.

My son has seen Dr. Nielsen since he was born in 2009 and my daughter since 2012. I love these doctors, especially Dr. Nielsen and Dr. Javier. They love their profession and practice it at a very high level. I have never seen other health professionals with such devotion to their jobs. The best way to prove this is with your kids. My son loves to go there and sometimes he even tells me that he does not feel good just to go see the doctor and starts laughing... even though he gets all his shots there! I recommend this office and to me, it is the best. Of course, they make money... and yes, you wait, but they follow up with you the check on your kid or even call the hospital when kids are referred to the hospital to see what attention the kid has received at the hospital. They even advocate for you, if needed. I know this because I have witnessed it... And, I am not related to any of them and do spend a lot of money in my kids health.

Dont bother. We have a 9 month old child who is sick and needed attention. We have been there and paid cash because our insurance company in New York doesnt pay for our bills out of state. They were more than of aware of this during our last two visits we went. This time around they said they dont accept our insurance which I was aware of and we said we are a cash payer. Which was not a problem before. They refused to see us and gave us false information which confirmed with the insurance provider in Florida and in New York. This practice needs to know the right information before turning away more sick kids.

Coming from a Pedatric Office that would take me half a day to get through, Treehouse Pediatrics has been a breath of fresh air. I absolutely cannot believe I get this caliber of quality and service, while not being there for more than an hour (wait time included). My three kids see Robinson, the Nurse Practitioner there, and she is amazing. She takes the time to ask questions, and makes sure she understands the child. All her recommendations have been perfect. Plus, shes super sweet and easy to talk to as well.

The doctors in this practice do support breast feeding and Dr. Nielson caught a latching problem that a trained lactation consultant previously missed. Having a baby of her own, Dr. Nielson spoke to me as a Mom and as a pediatrician. She has a sweet nature which helped to set me at ease (which is important when you have a 10 day old crying inconsolably). We love Dr Javier, who is actually our babys pediatrician, and were so happy that even though it was her day off we got such good care from Dr. Nielson.

Dr. Javier has been the best doctor we have seen to date, we were seeing a different pediatrician when my children were first born. I got tired of bad service and long wait times so I made the decision to switch, Dr. Javier welcome us and treated my kids as her own. She really listens and has a genuine concern. Anytime I call they fit us, witch was one of my biggest concern when looking for a new pediatrician. I will recommend TREEHOUSE to everybody I know. Their stuff is awesome and really friendly…

Dr. Javier and Dr. Noriega are both great, kind and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Too bad their staff is nothing like them, impolite and disrespectful. Their courtesy is non existent. I dont need to put any names here Im sure you know who you are and hope you reflect on how bad you are representing your work place. Please learn how to treat patients with respect. Its not always about the Doctors its the overall experiences that counts as well.
