The receptionist and the nurse were both wonderful and very nice but I was disappointed with Dr. Lopez. I just moved here from out of state and loved our pediatrician back home. At every appointment they would do a developmental check with your baby, a full exam, and ask lots of questions about babys sleeping, eating, and bowels. Not only that but they would sit down and spend time with you, answering any questions you had. Dr. Lopez came in the room for maybe 10 minutes. Didnt introduce himself, didnt shake my hand, nothing. My lo was there for vaccines. I was previously told if baby gets a temp of 104 or higher the baby should be brought in because a fever that high can cause brain damage. When I asked Dr. Lopez about this to verify he gave me a look like I was the biggest idiot he had ever met and told me he had never heard of such a thing. Well thats fine if you have never heard of such a thing but thats why Im asking you, thats why Im there to see you, because youre the doctor. There is no need to be rude. He did this with several other questions I had as well. Besides the rudeness I dont feel like my lo was thoroughly examined. He looked in his ears, eyes, rollled him on his stomach and that was it. There were no questions regarding eating sleeping or development. I was handed paperwork as I left that I didnt look at until I got home. After reading I noticed it said to start giving baby cereal at 4 months. I was under the impression that putting cereal in a bottle isnt really something people do anymore but again Im not a doctor so it would have been nice for him to go over the paper work with and allow me to ask any questions I might of had. Normally I dont write reviews but after thinking about it over and over again I wish I would have said something to him while I was there about the rudeness and his attitude. As far as the exam in my opinion lacking, maybe that is just how he runs his office but I want a pediatrician that cares for the well being of my baby and I did not get that feeling from him.

Dr. Lopez and his staff are truly amazing. After a recent health scare with my 9 yr old, Dr. Lopez immediately took care of my son. Dr. Lopez was able to get my son into a pediatric cardiologist for diagnostic testing within days. Thankfully all went well and my son has no problems. Dr. Lopez and his staff were truly caring and helped me from beginning to end to get my sons health taken care of. My son absolutely adores Dr. Lopez, as well as I do. He treats my son like a "little man" by shaking his hand, asking him questions directly. My son feels "grown up" after having a visit with Dr. Lopez. AND not to forget the office staff, as well as the nurses, they are caring , are absolutely exemplary and are always helpful. My only regret is not finding Dr. Lopez and his staff sooner!

His staff is great but hes not the best. We recently switched to him and his exams are not all that thorough. I had to point out a huge birthmark on my sons bottom because he never even turned him around and examined. At our 12 month appt he told me my son was "getting nothing" by breastfeeding and if he continued to 18 months that it would be considered "abnormal". Apparently he doesnt stay up to date on current medical literature since the WHO advises to continue breastfeeding until at least 2 years old.

Very friendly and very smart Dr. He is Great with Kids and parents and a pleasure to see everytime. His nurses even make getting the shots not so bad. :) While my wife and I were in the hospital not only did he come and check on us, but he came 2 days in a row, and made us feel very comfortable. ld reccomend him to anyone that wants a great and genuinely caring Doctor. He doesnt make you feel rushed and answers all your questions, with a smile and a laugh.

Sometimes you see 5 stars and you go there and you really arent sure why it got 5 stars other than not utterly sucking. This place ears every single star. If you want a genuinely caring environment this is your place. I was in and out quickly and kindly.
