My experience ; I called as a walk-in new patient, They informed me that they did indeed except walk in patients. They also stated that there may be a reasonable wait time. Which I was willing to sit through. I sat for 3 and 1/2 hours and at 6 : 20 PM EST an individual walked in stating that they had just scheduled an appointment for 6 : 15 EST PM. I was informed that there were no openings as far as appointments for this particular day. The individual was holding the appointment spot for the person who wasnt going to show up until 6 : 30. ( 15 minute window period of availability). The spot was being held for this person who wouldnt appear until 6 : 30 approximately. I read the "customer service standard" (plaque on the wall), which summarized theyre standards when it comes to customer service. I feel as if theyre standards have lowered because there was no one during the duration of my visit to give me an update in regards of my wait time. No one informed me of any kind of update. When asking an employee once of how long I would have to wait for until I was seen, the employee would only tell me to give her some time and that she would return to me with a response. (Which did not occur.) I ended up sitting an additional 45 minutes with no form of response. The communication in this scenario would have been a big factor but instead non was received. I have rated this institution with one star because the staffing has performed a horrible job. I wouldnt return. Hopefully this criticism would improve the customer service experience. Especially for new patients.

I would not come back here. I had to wait at least 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor even though I had an appointment. I was lied to by the receptionist over the phone (who called me back 3 times after my appointment set up to 1: confirm my appointment 5 minutes after I made it, 2: ask me for my email address, and 3. ask me for my address) about the pricing for an exam and then accused of lying when I brought it up at the time I had to pay. I ended up paying close to $400 for a contact lense exam which is outrageous. I then had to WAIT over 20 minutes to be given my prescription AFTER I paid and just wanted to leave this place. I was also supposed to be given another appointment which no one even bothered to mention. I thought this would be a nice place to go to considering the positive reviews, but sadly I was wrong. The Dr. was fine, but the customer service was very poor.

Dr. Etten is very patient and works well with all ages. I once had a scare right before Christmas a couple of years ago where I was seeing flashes at night. Although he examined my eyes to make sure my retina did not detach, he wanted me to immediately go to an ophthalmologist (since many doctors would be out during the season)...so, what did he do? His staff found out where I should go and made an appointment and since I was using public transportation that day, he went out of his way and ordered an Uber for me...on his dime! Now, what doctor does that! Excellent service!

I have been coming to this office for many years and I can tell you that everyone is always very helpful and efficient! Dr Etten is wonderful. He takes his time to explain everything and has given me excellent guidance in choosing my eyewear. Dr. Pino is also very informative and knowledgeable. The staff is personable, yet professional and know how to deal with insurance issues. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new Optometrist.

I loved this office and my visit. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The doctor (Etten) was very professional and explained each part of the exam thoroughly. The office was equipped with great technology (X-ray machine for eyes versus dilation if you choose) and clean. The doctor gave samples for me to try and when I called to order my contacts, they offered to ship them to my house. I would certainly recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr.Pino for more than 10years. Both doctors as well as the staff are always courteous, professional and caring; especially Jorge (George) and Minerva . There are several eyewear brands and styles to choose from, for both children and adults. The staff is there to guide you and answer your insurance questions . I refer my own patients there as well as friends. This is the place for top-notch eye care services!!

I am a long standing customer of 9 years and have left voice mails to call because I wanted to reorder contacts. They dont return the voicemails. I called and spoke with someone and she said she would call back to take the order. Its been over a week and no returned call. Bad customer service!!! PS. Dr. Etten is a very good optometrist though.

Wow! The staff is extremely professional and the doctor I saw was fantastic. I was a new patient so I expected a long delay, boy was I wrong! My paperwork was processed, I was seen by the doctor and selected new frames and was back in the car in under an hour. I am looking forward to the next visit!
