I needed to get vaccines for school. I wanted to get titers drawn to see if it was necessary to have repeat vaccinations. The nurse immediately started with the vaccines I needed and really was not interested in hearing me out about the titers. I felt as if I was on an assembly line. Stick and move. She told me that I was taking a $75 gamble because I may not have immunity to the diseases and would have to pay for the immunizations in the end. I kindly informed her I was in healthcare provider, was full aware of what I was doing and it was a gamble I was willing to take; as I want as less vaccines/medications in my body as possible. Come to find out I did not need the vaccines after all. Imagine if I had not advocated for myself. I would have been out more than $75 and had vaccines injected into me that I really did not want. Also they forgot to check the box on the lab requisition sheet for one of my much needed labs so when I went to get my results they were not there. I had blood drawn Jan 23 and I was informed of the error Feb 8. My deadline was fast my approachING and I was leaving the country the next day. I know people make mistakes but... Luckily, a waiver is accepted for this immunization. I give 2 stars for reasonable cost and the other staff members being very kind.

Let me take a minute to recognize some of the amazing staff that has worked so hard to help us. We just moved here from Ohio and we could not get our doctors to fax over our records. Sheila Bogg who works the front desk has gone above and beyond. She has worked for 3 weeks on helping us and always been in touch and willing to help anyway that she could. She got to where she knew us by face and worked non stop to help. Shortly before obtaining the records the immunization nurse Christy jumped in with both feet and helped as well. They both were some of the most caring and helpful women we could have ever hoped to encountered and I would like to say thank you to both of them for there amazing relentless efforts.

I went to Pinellas County Health Department for vaccine at 11:40 am. A very professional receptionist told me to fill out a form and be there at 12:30 because their nurse was at lunch. I came back at 12:30; the nice receptionist told me that there were two patients ahead of me. I sat in the waiting room from 12:30 to 1:50 pm. I asked the receptionist: (Since you said there are only two patients ahead of me, how long should I wait?) Even all of the friendly receptionists were wondering why it took so long. Finally, the nurse called my name around 2:00 pm. Does it really take one and half hour to see two patients?

Everyone, avoid this place if you can. Worst Public Health Department ever. Dental Clinic changes your appointments without confirmation. A few time they stated that I must changeit, or I wont get treated. Today my appointment was at 10:45. I waited in line for 10 minutes to sign in. The reception told I am too late, I cannot be treated at 10:50. They are just too much. Im just gonna have to find another place. This place is like a communist party.

I came here at 8am on a walk in basis because my sons tooth was in so much pain.......Im still waiting 3.5 hours later and still have not been seen. This is the worst service ever. If these people working here were true professionals they would have least took my son back into the spare room because I saw it available and gave him some pain reliever. What a joke this place is!!!!!!!!! Dont ever come to this place for your child. They dont care.

I have unfortunately been coming to this location for years on and off. Due to not being able to afford health insurance I really have no choice. If I was able to afford insurance I would never come here again. The staff never seems to know what they are doing, more than half of them are rude, they lose information from your file that youve given them repeatedly. Sometimes I feel like Im sitting in a joke when I come here.

I was terrified before my first visit today because of all of the snotty reviews here. I have never had such a wonderful experience. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The medical assistant was thorough and kind. The nurse was friendly and made my experience easy and comfortable. I am proud that they are in Pinellas Park and so close to home. Thanks!

My mom is very ill. She went and the dr said shes having heart palpitations and they will send her a referral in the mail she will get within 30 days to a cardiologist....she never recieved it..she also has arthritis among other issues and they have done NOTHING for her...If she dies they are to blame for not treating her...Obama care sucks!

Should shut place down waited 2days to get an extraction they sent me home with paper work to fill out and bring back then went back n was first person there gave them paper work waited 45 minutes all for them to tell me they dont except sunshine medicaid and sending me away in excruciating pain what a fkn joke

I have been waiting for 8 days to have antibiotic prescription sent to the pharmacy. Called and was told I would get a call back. I have a severe sinus infection that is causing nose bleeds. All you get is "Ill transfer you to someone who can help you" and I get a voice mail.

Only doing 1 star because the receptionist at the front was the only positive part of my experience here. This place is nothing but I ncompetent and rude nurses/doctors who dont want to do their job. Go to a different county if you need to go to the health department!

Slow to provide the healthcare needed, hard to schedule an appointment and hard to get phone calls or issue taken care of I would not recommend this place to anybody they are just so slow and so far backed up that they can hardly provide the help the people need

Go to St. Petes Health Dept. SoOoO much easier and sooOo much faster. Went here for tooth pain as a walk in also due too no Insurance I was in and out in less than 2 hours!! Absolutely Amazing!!! And guess what, they actually CARE!! Enough said:)))
