Doctor Britt has been our Veterinarian for nearly five years now. Being a small stable and pasture rental we have had a number of Veterinarians come to our place to treat our renters horses and believe me there isn’t another Veterinarian that even comes close to Doctor Britt. It is amazing how many Vet’s that don’t come out after 4:30 PM or on weekends and holidays. Every injury or sever illness that has ever occurred on our property has almost always been after hours or late at night on weekends and holidays and Doctor Britt has always been the one who answers the phone. Many times I’ve taken a photo of an injury and text it to him and he guided me as to what to do from there and never charged me for it. He is a true Veterinarian in that puts the animals before the dollar. He does have a staff and over head that he can’t always do for free but he is very reasonable with his rate and fees. His knowledge fear secedes any others that we met. Our only fear is that he will not live forever and someday we will have to find another Vet, but until that day we will only let Doctor Britt work on our animals. JR Stables Lakeland

We love Dr. Britt, I had another vet come out before doc Britt and he treated us like we were stupid and got mad because my horse was scared and had been abused when she rared up and hit arm of assistant he said she needs training before anyone should be around her. but Doc Britt worked with her gently and now she does very well with her vet visits. He comes out when needed and answers the late calls when something happens. I would highly recommend the doc

Dr Britt is the best! He really cares about the animals he treats. He ALWAYS responds to emergencies. He has treated my horses for colic on a couple of occaisions, of course in the middle of the night... quickly and with a smile. My horses are doing well, and I continue to have Dr Britt provide all their preventative care. Always has a cheerful attitude. Thank you Dr Britt.

Dr Britt is a horse vet like i had back in the 50s. Available on the phone to get things started . He has a down to earth nature and a lot of years of experience. He explains the problems the causes, and the prevention. I dont know how he is with high end show horses (and owner) but he sure knows our loved backyard friends. Im very glad he is in our area.

In a world where most vets are in it for the money ... Dr Britt is a godsend . He simply does this because he wants to help animals . He is always available , and I mean ALWAYS . He is not overpriced either . I have used several other vets in the area but never again . The way this man cares about the animals and his customers speaks for itself .

Dr. Britt knows his gaited horses and was able to quickly solve what was going on with my Rocky Mt. Horse when her stifle locked. He ended up having to do surgery on her as a last resort and now shes all better. He put us at ease and did great job! Highly recommended, especially for gaited horse owners.
